                I just do about 1 gram per lb and don’t think about it. If I eat more than that - great.
                Maybe it’s a placebo effect but I think that if you do around and above 1g/lb you literally don’t feel that hungry at all no matter how low your total calorie intake is.

          I eat it in one meal (out of convenience, not because I think OMAD is better). Salt and pepper, just enough butter to cover the pan when cooking. Water for a drink. Very simple set up.

        there's a reason bodybuilders eat a lot of chicken breast, lean ground beef, lean white fish, lowfat greek yogurt, etc. Fat has 9 cals/gram, protein 4cals/gram. If you don't watch it, you can easily overeat fats and go way over your caloric goal. Eggs are roughly 1:1, higher fat ground beef or steaks are almost 1:1, chicken thighs are a bit leaner but still fairly fatty. Cook them in some olive oil and you're getting even more fats.

        Typically your diet is going to have roughly equal caloric content from fat and protein. This means on average your protein-fat ratio should be around 2:1 if not higher.

    Chicken thighs are super fatty, eat boneless/skinless chicken breast. Make slits and put in small slivers of garlic, season with salt, pepper, some lemon slices, olive oil or a little butter, bake under foil, take the foil off 10m before it's done.
