then it will take a ton of energy out of me and i wont be able to progressively overload my lifts. the fatigue from running will get in the way of my lifting
Jesus fucking christ actually have a nice day if running one mile is that exhausting.
I run 1mile/10min everyday as a warm up for gym time and never lost performance.
You weak ass son of a bitch. Kys
When I was in middle school I was 225lbs of fat. I ran a mile as fast as I could every day, my first mile time was 11:54. 3 months later, and with some diet correction, I was 155lbs and my mile time was 5:24. Maybe you should be running every day

You hit the nail on the head. This is the point of running. From my experience with steady-state cardio, it's more of a mental challenge than physical. The difficulty creeps up slowly and steadily, parts of my feet start aching and my mind says, 'just stop and walk, stop this pain and difficulty task.' I respond with, 'no, I'm gonna keep going and jog my whole running session.'
me too brother, me too.
Same here, I've been benching 1 plate every other day for a month, Wondering when I get to two plate.

This. You might no implement it in exactly the way you would for weights, but most of the same structuring works just fine at sub-advanced levels.
Same, I prefer lifting than rooning, but I need some cardio in my life.
