Bench Press and Overhead Press HATE

I must have missed a huge amount of gains due to terrible form by now, I don't feel my chest or shoulders at all
What the frick do I replace these lifts with
I know compounds are be-all and end-all, but I am wasting my fricking time at this point

    I haven’t seriously OHPed in years. At RPE10 (maxing out or going for an AMRAP at any moderately heavy weight) I always end up cheating by turning it into a standing incline bench.
    I should train it seriously once I’m done with this cut. It would be cool to OHP 2pl8 at sub 200

    Start hitting arms more and eating more so your twig arms grow and help support your bench. I consider myself to be a bench expert, i can do 4 pl8 at 185 bw. Things you need to focus on are back, triceps, grip etc. It's a full upper body lift. I suspect your biggest problem is that you don't eat enough to grow because even with shit tier form, just going through the motions should take you out of twig territory as long as ypu consume enough food

      Also I want to add, don't worry about being super pedantic about form. It's okay to unga bunga the weight for speed reps/power. You should be autistic about that stuff when you start hitting your limits

        The answer to this is that you have to do the exercises. Take off some of the weight and then work.your way back up. Every time I see one of these threads I already know everything about OP.

        Bench press is hard when you just start out. You probably see people, some maybe smaller than you pushing 2+ plates and you feel bad. You are looking for excuses to cut it from your workout. You can either swallow your pride and keep at it, or you can quit.

        Seated barbell OHP is even worse. In addition to the difficulty, just getting it off the rack is a challenge. The bar is behind your head, your arms are already stretched so it's hard to generate power. I understand. If you can only do the bar, just do the bar.

        The form stuff is a distraction. You know what the proper form looks like. If you can't do it that means you need to drop the weight. You aren't a special snowflake with some unique physiology that is preventing you from doing the exercise. Just bite the bullet.

    Record yourself doing these lifts and post them (here if you want) somewhere where someone can find the flaws. One thing many people miss with OHP is flexing your glutes throughout the lift for example.

    oh my god please just use dumbbells
    strength doesn't care that much about form if you're not egolifting
    if the gains you mean are hypertrophy related, dumbbell presses are so superior to barbell it isn't even a joke
    and you should be able to do them with ease

    It just occurred to me that grapes are toxic to foxes. I’ve known for a while not to give my dogs grapes because it can harm them. Foxes are close relatives to dogs and grapes are harmful to them as well. The whole allegory is bullshit because eating a bunch of grapes would literally kill the fox.

    Use dumbbells.
    Low weights.
    Do 25 reps for 5 sets with 3 minutes rest for 3 weeks.
    Valet.
    Your grapes are cured.

    I don't like them with a barbell either
    barbell ohp hurts my shoulders
    bench press is fine but perma stuck at baby weight because longish arms, wide flat chest

    Frick training chest they get hit by press ups and dips now and then.
    Use a machine for it and retrain your movements if you care so much, probably need to work mobility and stabilizer muscles.

    just do calisthenics
    there's nothing more chad than having full control over your body
    nobody cares how heavy a powerlard fatass can lift, they look fugly and can't do a single pullup
