    Sorry OP. Other exercises like pulling large weights behind you are for strength, overhead press, rows, and overhead dead-lifts. Pull up varieties like muscle ups and handstand pushups are also good ways to measure your general strength. Bench press is mostly for aesthetics and it's application is fairly specific.
