exercise to get a fast metabolism

      Anonymous

Read Dr Ray Peat; cut grains, seeds, nuts, legumes, and PUFA. Eat a balanced diet of Saturated Fats, sugars and animal protein.

your body using up more resources to maintain itself is not the same as having a fast resting metabolism. Long distance cardio increases cortisol and estrogen.

Congrats on having poverty genetics. Eat less calories than the calculators predict.

      >genetics
      braindead

      >slow metabolism
Doesn't exist. You're just slow and lazy and don't think you are. You think you're normal.

      bafflingly stupid post

One meal a day (OMAD). It makes keeping daily caloric intake within 1500 easier. Also
      >eat whole foods, not processed slop
      >limit daily net carbs to 100g or less
      >limit sugar consumption to only fruits (NO JUICE)
      >drink water (preferably with lemon and/or apple cider vinegar), green/black tea, or black coffee (add cinnamon for extra metabolism boost) during your fasting hours

fasting lowers metabolism in the long run, limiting carbs is absolutely the most moronic advice you could give, and so is limiting sugar.
      same with only drinking water

The same anons ITT saying metabolism is "just an excuse" will complain about how microplastics, xenoestrogens and so on are destroying men's test levels, unaware that these same things directly damage thyroid function.
amazing how poorly IST understands the human body.

        lmao fat cope

The baseline resting metabolism is a meme, the studies don't take any other factor into account than "how much calories you need per day to stay at you current weight"

It doesn't take into account your type of job , how stressful it is, your hours, how much you sleep, how much you're walking, how much you stand, sit, stay lying in bed, talk, even how much you think.

I can assure you that 99% of "slow metabolism" fatsos that "eat almost nothing" stay on their asses or in their bed all day.

I'm a skinny guy, and I KNOW it's because I can't stand still, I'm fidgetting if i'm not moving for too long, you fatties are able to not move an inch for hours and will cry when your sloth asses get fat from eating the same shit as me in the same quantities.

You know that 60 years ago, if you went to a doctor obese, tired and lethargic, he likely would have given you thyroid and sent you on your way. Now, you will simply be told you're a fatass who needs to eat less. Only now everyone is obese.

you have clearly only heard the word metabolism in relation to obese people using it as an excuse (which it isn't, because it is an easily solved issue)
maybe, instead of getting your information from Fat People Hate threads, you should try reading about thyroid and how it works.

          > the studies don't take any other factor
what studies? all you need to know is how thyroid works?

          >>I can assure you that 99% of "slow metabolism" fatsos that "eat almost nothing" stay on their asses or in their bed all day.
          >people with little energy sit on their ass all day
          fricking genius observation dude

you sound like a bit of a simpleton, but instead of having a kneejerk reaction towards trigger words like "metabolism", try actually looking into the concepts being discussed. thanks.

Sorry but i'm going to have to "no U" on this one.

you're the actual simpleton (which fits because your 85 IQ doesn't help your brain to burn any calories at all, that's why you're fat)

Being fat literally means you HAVE energy pockets all around your body (and your fricking arteries also, stop eating and start moving or you'll die, disgusting piece of shit)
If you're talking about motivation, use the right word. And if you don't have any motivation but you have the energy, then you're just a lazy frick 🙂

            >you have clearly only heard the word metabolism in relation to obese people using it as an excuse, which it isn't
            >muh thyroid

You lardasses are really delusionnal morons reading from your fatso script to deny any accountability.

well if you are getting technical, its also dependent on endurance. weak people will get fatigued faster and have less potential to lift more, run more, etc.
They have the fat storage to replace lost energy but this doesn't equate to having more energy to exercise more. It just means they dont have to eat as much

I'm sorry that basic biological processes are so hard for your moron brain to figure out anon

              >Being fat literally means you HAVE energy pockets all around your body
Yeah, and it is STORED for a reason, there is a reason your body is STORING energy instead of USING it. Unless you're eating truckloads of fat every day, a healthy individual shouldn't get fat easily. It is also stressful and inconvenient for your body to use STORED energy instead of energy you consume DIRECTLY.

              >You lardasses are really delusionnal morons reading from your fatso script to deny any accountability.
              "YOU'RE FAT YOU'RE FAT YOU'RE FAT!!!!"

And they love to find excuses for their behavior because that way, they're not accountable

Again, it is as if the entirety of IST only understands the concept of metabolism in relation to "its an excuse obese people use!" in their fat people hate threads

Honestly I don’t assume people are fat by their posts very often, but you just aren’t even trying to hide it.

Your metabolism is slow because you are fat. It is entirely controlled by one hormone produced in the thyroid. Estrogen and all the other shit going on in your body signals it to produce less thyroid, exercises signals it to produce more.

Raypeat is a moron addicted to sugar and caffeine. Sugar raises your metabolism during the 30 minutes it’s in your bloodstream as your body works overdrive to get the poison out of your blood vessels and into fat cells. The insulin however lowers it.

        >fasting lowers metabolism in the long run
Then he can eat less in the future. If your body only burns 1200 calories a day, then that's what you eat. You don't feed it 2500 because "that's what you're supposed to eat."

      Eat less. That's it.
I dropped from 24 to 19 BMI over 10 weeks by making following adjustments:
      > Weigh everything, limit calories, 3 meals a day
      > Cut out all sugars, artificial sweeteners, flours / ground up starches of all kinds
      > This also effectively removed most processed oils from diet, but wasn't an explicit goal
Note no fasting, no OMAD. Basic weigh your food and cut out the simple carbs.

This. Slow Metabolism is an excuse until you're over 60. It's diet and activity level.
If you want to speed up metabolism... drink black coffee. That will speed up your metabolism effectively, though note it works better for smaller people.

eat less, lower your caloric intake, drink lots of water. go for runs everyday. at least 10,000 steps a day.

You don't even need to train. Running for a fatty is a recipe for blown knees. Lose the weight first then train IMHO.

I suffer from chronic stress due to mental defect. I usually have several panic attacks a day so I have to change my clothes due to excessive sweating. All that cortisol is bound to affect the metabolism, but so far I haven't found any guidelines on how much more I have to try compared a normal person. I'm very obsessive and have no problems harming myself by going too far.

OCD and self harm. More trauma.
You need to get into therapy and deal with your underlying trauma.
And I'll still tell you that your diet is probably crap but between being fat and being dead you're better off fat, so deal with the trauma first.

I've lost 100lbs in a year with hypothyroidism. I started at 360. I ate 1,200 calories a day and walked a mile everyday. Eventually ramping up the length I walked and mixed in short bursts of jogging. Still fat but no longer obese. Just takes dedication to walk everyday and avoid eating excess calories.
