His whole philosophy on training close to failure and measuring volume by # of hard sets/ aiming for good control+slow eccentrics+ stretch at the top— ALL of this applies regardless of steroid use or none.
The problem is that his recommendation of quantity of hard sets is inflated by his inability to measure rpe.
He recommends tons of volume because he never goes near failure and lets the drugs do the work.
If a natural that really goes near failure does his recommended volume he is gonna be buried,

This this this. Inaccurately measuring RPE completely fucks up volume recommendations because they're dependent on the 'stimulus' of a set being X, and when it's 1.4X because you're actually doing as many as you can, suddenly his volume landmarks bury you.

His volume landmarks aren't that high at all. He suggests you start at MEV which is something like 6-10sets/week for most body parts, not sure how you can say that is inflated.
Also, you might just have a lower work capacity, his whole thing is that there are individual differences and his landmarks are just a starting point to for you to find where you fit.
His main principles are:
-start a training block with the fewest number of sets you need to progress
-increase training volume / weights / RPE through the weeks
-find how much volume you can recover from
-repeat till you need to deload after you hit an overreaching stage where you aren't recovering fully
-maximize ROM for more stimulus and less fatigue
Not sure how anyone can say that's stupid or doesn't apply to natural or roided up people

I think if he just wrote it like this, I would like him better (but that wouldn't sell, so I get it). I feel like a lot of his output is overcomplicated in an effort to sound "sciencey".
In reality, it's all very simple, and what he suggests is reasonable and effective, but then he obfuscates everything with acronyms, confusing spreadsheets, etc.
