Writing my comic rn. How do I make a specific character as cool as Jetstream Sam?

whenever he's reacting to something, sam reacts in a very specific, slightly wienery yet sportsmanlike way. try to emulate that

Thank you friend, I've already paved a path that allows for some wienery yet honourable interactions but I couldn't put it into words as you did

The reason he's ugly aren't the legs. As anon said , big legs look good if you're not a chinlet manlet.

Why are you mad? Holy projection, man. I did not search deeper into it because I dont give a frick about it. It's not part of my routine and it looks moronic. Standard OHP already requires a perfect form to not frick you up - ehich is what happens to many ISTzens based on their posts.

Behind the neck press. Hits all heads of the delt. It's based but klokov presses are the superior variation

How much does it really do for the rear delta though?

            Anonymous

I feel it a fair bit more in my rear delts than my front delts tbh. Feel it strongly in my traps too.

back snaps, merged with shoulder snaps

Its an assistance exercise for Olympic weightlifters that compete for the highest snatch and clean + jerk. That is a sots press, its a overhead press in the deep squat of a snatch, using the hand position for the snatch. There really isn't that much point doing it for hypertrophy reasons/general strength unless you want to do it for fun, you will still make gains but it wont be optimal.

Also all the people in this thread saying its bad for your shoulders are moronic, it can be if you're not flexible and you ego lift, but weightlifters do that exercise (maybe not that exercise in particular, but behind the neck pressing and jerking) all the time with no higher rates of injury as powerlifters and bodybuilders.

it also looks cool if aslong as you're strong, if you're a dyel doing it with dyel weight, you just look goofy

Leglets are a walking talking punchline. All aesthetics, no functional strength. Imagine having a huge upper body but not having any actual functional strength. Totally humiliating.

Ahhh, I have a cursed fat distribution below the waist, got tree trunk legs (relative to the upper body) from basic 3x5 squats. Now I do bodyweight squats variations only, good to develop endurance but man do I miss having a barbell on my shoulders.

Agreed. Arnold in the day had peak legs.
Big legs that force you to waddle around are unaesthetic.

  21. 2 years ago

How is that unaesthetic, he looks fricking good here. I really like how my quads pop out after a leg day, and they look really good when I'm in shorts. I think I've noticed girls looking when I wear sweat pants or shorts. The downside is some pants and jeans look too tight, which looks pretty gay.

i think people normally overdo it with the squats and don’t do any other leg exercises so their quads just look like massive tumors with no real definition nor teardrop effect

I think if you have a narrow waist and shorter leg proportions, getting big legs is anaesthetic because they make you look like a balloon animal, You're wide up top, you taper down, then you fan out for your legs. If you have a wide waist and hips, having big legs makes you look solid and fills your physique visually, like Samoan rugby players, which would be aesthetic (pic rel, they would look really stupid if they had twigs). If you have long leg proportions, you won't get thick legs even if you tried, no matter what your waist and hip circumference is.

so big legs are either aesthetic or un-aesthetic depending on your anatomy, in your pic, he has very short leg proportions thus where prone to getting unaesthetically too big too easily + disproportionately small upper body.

didn't post for some reason. Also OP I should add, in the photo you posted, he is flexing his legs in that photo as well which makes it look bigger then otherwise.

Nahhh it's the hair bro. Gotta shave that shit off first then it's aesthetic.
