I grew up in Pennsylvania and now live in Los Angeles. I will never miss snow and I will never move back east no matter how shitty the homeless situation gets here.
I’ve always hated winter, not gonna lie. Northern PA gets quite a bit of snow. I will never miss having to go shovel snow and scrape ice off of my car at 6am.
Had to unfuck this in the morning. Had to go grab a proper, metal shovel to break up all that compacted snow and still struggled with the snow shovel afterwards

Well if you regularly got the kind of snowfalls that areas near Lake Erie have been getting this year then you're allowed to complain. Otherwise I believe that complaining about the climate you live in is silly
They usually come around while I'm at work. Luckily I have a nice, flat spade that chops up the ice chunks, then I scoop it all with my large plastic shovel.

good, only whites can handle winter
Where I live we get around 5-6 months of snow and cold weather, and I like to think it hardens us up a bit. Deep down though I fucking hate every moment of it.
>live in minneapolis >particularly bad year for snow and ice >city fucked the last snow storm in early january >basically left the roads in full chaos that took up till last week to unfuck due to brief warm days >sidewalks are pure ice for an entire month because 70% of the residents barely shovel/salt their portion of sidewalk >snowed another 12” last night >walking around today because work gave everyone off >barely anyone shoveled their sidewalk again
Young/middle aged homeowners are fucking lazy shits here. I see all the old people shoveling their shit and the few others that own snowblowers. My block has been absolute hell this year because no one is fucking shoveling. It’s like the city gave up then the residents gave up and it’s in full disarray
Shitheads should at least shovel the sidewalks. The city doesn't run small tractors with a snow plow on the front and a salt dispenser on the back to clear the sidewalks?
Nope. They leave it up to the residents to clear the sidewalk in front of their homes. I’m sure they clear and salt downtown sidewalks but out a little further and they don’t do shit. They’re supposed to fine people who don’t clear but they’ve been particularly lazy since covid. Ive been having to walk on the road if I street park because the sidewalks are straight ice
>not shoveling for your elderly neighbors
ngmi
Only one elderly couple on my block but they’re usually the first ones out shoveling/snow blowing.
>shoveling snow
>chest
>not shoveling snow with your chest
but its my back that hurts after shoveling
Sup.
soulless
>OH NO-

Kills my forearms first tbh
You lived somewhere with a shitload of snowfall or are you just that much of a sissy bitch?

PA has gotten no snow this year. Today was 70F outside. Turns out Al Gore might have been right about global warming
Snowed in redwood city this morning, haha we took all your snow
>no refunds
>Literally blocks your path
