Bones

You see this space?

Between the rips and the hips?

Yeah, I don't have that.

I don't know what's wrong with me, but mine is incredibly small. All these illustrations depict the ribs and the hips to be so apart from each other, meanwhile I can barely fit my index finger between the furthest point of the back rips, and the furthest point of the hip.

Maybe I'm missing a vertebrae or something? Or maybe my ribs or hips are abnormally long ?

Post a pic of your BACK side not your front, how are we supposed to see the fricking area you circled in the OP...and take off the belt and drop the top of your jeans down another 2-3 inches to reveal more surface area
Also, goddamn man have some dignity and clean your personal space, that looks sad as shit

How am I supposed to take a picture of my back... I can't reach that far. I've tried a few times and it just moronic shots all of them. Maybe I'm stupid or maybe my arms are too short.

          Anyway is this better?

Looks relatively normal to me, likely a consequence of poor postural control. If you're having pain/discomfort, try holding child's pose for 30-60s (with a little left/right bias for good measure), deadhangs off a bar for the same amount of time should help too. If you have an exercise/Swiss ball, you can blow it up real big and just starfish out on top of it; that will probably feel good as hell for you.
Btw, check your anatomy--there is no fricking way in hell those lines are as close to each other IRL as you drew in the pics. If they were, you wouldn't be able to bend over...like, at all.
But honestly the first thing you should do is see a physical therapist. Nobody on IST--not even me--is gonna help you out the way a good PT can.

Thanks for the reply, I will consider your advice. The ball sounds fun.

That's the thing, I'm not good at bending my torso. It feels too bony, my ribs dig into my hips and I can feel them touching each other when im leaning sideways or backwards, but it doesn't hurt, my torso also feels too small relative to my legs.

*Gonna add: if you're doing the deadhangs on a bar, add a little rotational component in your legs to mobilize your lumbar spine.

You are absolutely moronic. Your proportions are no where near as bad as you think. You drew the top of your iliac crest line about 3 inches too high. If you want to find where your hip bone actually ends, dig your finger into your hip area until you come to a bony protruberance. That's the top. More than worrying about having orangutang proportions, I suggest you lose some goddamn weight. Your fat digusts me.

To be more specific, your iliac crest tops out around an inch below your belly button. Dig around in your fat mass until you feel it. You're not so fat that you can't find it yourself. It's on your side.

It's not exact, but it's pretty close. You can also see it as the spine bend(don't how its called), starts to dissipate, turning into the sacrum, which is also way too oversized now that I think about it. Im not as much measuring the the Iliad crest as I am pinpointing it's furthest point, which yes, IS higher than my bellybutton for some reason. That shouldn't be the case should it?

And yes I am losing weight.

Alright, maybe I'm delusional and suffering from dysphoria, look I don't want to be abnormal, I want to be wrong, but if I'm right I want want it to be hidden from me. If it's not life or death and if it's not interfering with normal activities, doctors will usually tell you you're "normal" and there is nothing wrong. Like what are they supposed to say? "Yeah dude you're totally fricked up and you'll never have the propotions of a Nazi supersoldier you wish to have?" I mean god dammit these people will tell you that a resting heart rate of 100 BPM is "normal". How the standards have fallen.

I don't identity with the "normal" part of the population though. Healthcare is focused around making you "normal", like everyone else, and not actually unlocking your full potential as an individual. I want to be a Nazi supersoldier and they compare me to the health of your average 50 year old who gets inside a box to drive to another box and then to drive back to it's main box and do it all over again. The "normal" is the weak and the old and I don't want to identity with it.

                >delusion, dysmorphia
The two are not inherently related. Given the images and text you shared in this thread, dysmorphia seems to be a strong contributing factor in your case.
                >Healthcare is focused around making you "normal".
You are so far off base with this comment, I don't know what else to say. See a new grad physical therapist from an evidence-based doctorate program, and you will realize what "patient-centered care" actually means.
                >Nazi shit
Go frick yourself; I'm out of here. Hope it actually turns out to be ankylosing spinal stenosis, and that you end up experiencing great suffering and further decline in the future.

I wasn't being moronic, nor did I back up anything of what I said. I know exactly what I said. YOU are being moronic for not realizing that the stereotypical "nazi supersoldier experiment" is a long overused joke/meme, or whatever you wanna call it. It's based on Hitler's debased idea of a master race, which wasn't founded in science, and instead got turned into a meme by popular culture, escpecially with the release of the Wolfenstein series.

I'm being, what is often called in neurotypical circles, ironic. Not serious. Hyperbolic. I know that body language cannot be passed through text, but this should be obvious for IST standards. Go back to r----t, go frick yourself, and thanks for the medical advice, because it was unironically okay.

In reality, if I actually wanted to become a nazi """supersoldier"""" I would just have to take a bunch of meth and cocaine.

    >reduced rib-pelvis space
See a physical therapist. Could be an undiagnosed lumbar vertebral fracture, could be poor postural control, could be body morphology, could be nothing at all and you're just thinking it is, and the list goes on... One thing to keep in mind is that your body is not the exactly the same as every illustration you see on the internet. A good PT will be able to examine and assess what it is, and provide you with accurate recommendations.
