    There's literally no evidence that fasting DOESN'T burn muscle. Even if it does just a little, eating at a slow deficit burns less muscle anyway.

    I like fasting, I feel good fasting, but it's not the superior choice for muscle-mass sparing.

    I think the reason why people think fasting loses muscle is because
    1. All the water loss, which makes your muscles shrink a little
    2. Loss of fecal mater and bloat
    neither is counted as fat, yet makes you lose weight.
