          usually us oldtimers used to eat oatmeal for a good pump but also serves as a filling breakfast,
          idk why some wouldnt find it satiating when even oatvirgins would barely be able to eat more
          than like 1dl portions, a breakfast thats both warm, soft and savoury with something sweet
          on the side like frozen berries/banana really completes a good breakfast experience

          also goes really well with both tea, water or coffee

    I love oats but the way it makes me feel afterwards/how my body processes it is so inconsistent. Some times it'll make me feel like it's the single most filling and nourishing meal I've ever eaten, other times I feel like I've barely eaten. I think it has to do with eating it cooked or cold.

    150ml boiling water
    10g chia
    Add cinnamon or cocoa
    Cover and keep for 5 mins
    Chop half a banana
    1 teaspoon honey
    1 teaspoon (or regular spoon) peanut butter
    Berries (optional)
    Mix it with spoon and enjoy perfect breakfast oatmeal.

    I love oats. Two things:
    - Prep them with water and add whatever you want afterwards. Can be milk, I do yoghurt
    - After two months of eating oats with raisins and nuts I switched to "salty oats" with tuna and parsley. Amazing

    I eat them everyday and I feel great. I did have some gas in the beginning, but it resolved itself over time. I think gut biome had to adjust. I chose oats for my breakfast mainly because I feel well after them and they are rich in fiber.

    My Oatmeal breakfast everyday:
    1 cup of quick oats - 300 cal, 10g protein
    1 cup of lactose free milk - 130 cal, 9g protein
    1 cup of whey milk chocolate powder - 120cal , 24g protein
    1 medium banana - 110 cal

    Totals: 660cal, 43g protein.
    Honestly this meal takes literally 2 minutes max to make, i dont think u can get an easier home made breakfast with such high protein.

    I normally eat porridge oats in milk when I fancy something in the evening. I just let them soak for an hour and scoff them cold.
    Is there any particular reason I shouldn't just soak oats in milk overnight then take them to work and eat them for lunch? I normally have coffee for breakfast anyway

    i dunno which is better.. never really do oats for bfast but i have 170g greek yogurt w 4oz strawberry or some other berry, 21g honey (for carbs mainly, not to improve taste) , 17g pumpkin seed.

    seems to work fine for me. but im open to suggestions.
