    Do they work? Yes.
Are they optimal? Probably not. I’d recommend doing a program with higher frequency for the major muscle groups (ppl, ul, fullbody, etc)

Anything works if you are consistent enough but you will get better results following a Proper program

A bro split can be the basis of a proper program. That's why Fouad Abiad calls it a "pro split," because it's what anybody who professionally trains to grow their muscles does.

The latest science says frequency literally doesn't matter. When you control for volume, high frequency studies show the same gains as low frequency studies. Do what you enjoy and, if you're working hard enough, you'll grow. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30558493/

Because Schoenfeld will claim that a source claims the exact opposite of both its abstract and data

Schoenfeld is such a bullshitter, that "do the opposite of what one of his papers concludes" isn't bad advice. There's no reason to believe that a Schoenfeld study doesn't conclude whatever Schoenfeld wanted it to conclude in the first place.

Brad was cited earlier to justify a position as if he's producing good research. No, he's just shitting out lots of low quality papers.

Obviously. Some muscles need more work than once a week though
    Like shoulders, calves, biceps.

Bro split never made sense to me. It seems like you're using conflicting muscle groups for a lot of the compound lifts when you split it this way.

        >rear delts are part of shoulders and back
        >glutes are sometimes not considered part of the leg but part of the abs/'core'
        >sometimes people train upper traps on shoulder day
        >sometimes people train neck on shoulder day
        >leverages can make the triceps prexhasted from benching on chest day for arm day, same with biceps for back day
        >abs can hurt from quad dominant squats on leg day and can hurt on ab day
        >deadlifts can be a back day or leg day exercise, same thing with ohp and leg drive for shoulders
(assumes split of chest, back, arms, shoulders, legs, abs, rest)

I do pull ups on back day. Now my biceps are not prime for arm day.

Yes. Combine with regular running or cycling for best results.

Yes. You’re better off with more frequency though, especially if you’re a beginner.
