    yes
you are supposed to use them for squatting too, so you can actually train and improve ankle mobility
elevated heels are only for cucks with b***h weak ankles so they try cheating and skipping the mobility part

Wouldn't elevated heels be a detriment? I have a hard time picturing myself squatting comfortable with elevated heels. That is just strange.

probably to make it easier in terms of leverage for the sport of weight lifting, I'm just talking about the health of your feet, tendons, ligaments and joints in general because to me that is fitness

They are much much better to squat upright in, knees get more over toes allowing hips to be closer to ankles and torso to be more upright

A not-insignificant amount of people have an equinus foot type, which often causes a bony block that prevents proper ankle dorsiflexion ROM. These people will always need an elevated heel to front squat properly.

Squat and deadlift barefoot. The next best thing is a solid flat rubber sole. Cushion and anything that puts your feet in an unnatural position aren't doing you any good.

I was able to heal my feet with creams but now I'm hesitating to start running again. You should make sure you have non-moronic socks and your shoes fit you well. If your socks do not slip on your foot skin and your shoes do not have loose areas that slip over your socked foot, you probably will avoid blistering

        Anonymous

Oh, I forgot they produce weird tennis shoes now too.
Just, like chuck taylors, flat, low ankle, no padding/minimal padding, cotton fabric top, easy to bend in half. All the shoes on the market today just seem like a bunch of bullshit. Like the "nonstick" pans of the shoe world. Just get yourself a stainless steel pan, why do you need a fricking non stick shitty coated shitty metal mixture pan? Why do I need a curved 30 degree super laced tm piece of shoe crap.
Those elevated ankles and overly padded rigid shoes are shit for your ankles long term. Everything we do here is fricking moronic, can't squat down to sit like "slav" or "asian squat" because everyone sits on a chair, nobody sits on the floor anymore, nobody pops squats to hang out. American homes are so accessible most people end up becoming rigid fat immobile bodies that can't bend down further than chair height, and can't sit up, hell some can't even climb up stairs, we just fricking sit down majority of our lives, drive everywhere, japanese sit on the floor, pop squats, use stairs often, walk a bunch, not americans. I fricking hate how immobile americans are, if I were to ever design a house, all my chairs would be seat cushions, tables asian and on the floor, my bed? Thats up a ladder on the second floor, to even get to my living room you have to walk up a flight of stairs, I hate everyone here, frick the fat and disabled. You have to jump across a river on stones to make it to my house. I don't want to even speak to immobile cripples that are americans. You have to monkeybar across a death pit to get here. It'll be like those wizard towers in elden scrolls, you have to be smart enough to know the fly spell, except, you have to be fit enough to not fricking die doing basic shit like squatting, walking, jumping, or climbing up simple ladders. If you can't you're not worth talking to.

I don't think so. I only wear mine while I lift, and wear normal shoes (vans, chucks, toms) for everything else.
