carrying groceries unironically works, if you live in a city do a weekly/biweekly shop (works better if also shopping with others) at a store 15 minutes away and walk home

kek I do this but my groceries only weighs 20lb or less usually do I don't think it does much. I don't train forearms but I feel good activation from deadlift. i do them with DOH grip and try to hold the last rep at the top as long as I can. My working sets are only lmao345lb but I can feel the burn in forearms after.

I personally feel that my grip has been holding my deadlift back, been doing hook to keep the progress up but there's only so far you can go with that, gonna start doing timed farmers walks with kettlebells to try and get some forearm gains

I'll be 112% honest with you. You don't look like you lift. Keep eating and lifting heavy, anon.

visible outlines around delts and trapezius in a shirt that isnt tight, is obviously "looking like you lift"
and he clearly has the size, defined lined and vascularity to show for it

I do this but it's a 40 minute walk. Only use one bag so I can pass it over to the other hand when it gets tired. Actually improved my grip, gives a nice forearm and trap pump too

I hate to say it, but climbing. Everything else which is theoretically more efficient or whatever is just too boring to be sustainable.

finally starting to have faith in IST after finally starting to see people using wrost roller
and wrist curls all the way down to the fingertips, best forearm pump imaginable

Yes, that's a great pic. I learned to do it down to finger tips on my own, I don't bother explaining on here usually because it's typically confusing.

Are deadhangs good for forearms? Also can you use straps or just pure grip alone?

Deadhangs are great for forearms and grip strength. They also cured my ulnar nerve pain at the elbow. 3 hangs at the end of all my workouts now.

Thanks for the tip. I'm going to OT for ulnar pain and, while nice, nothings really been keeping it in check. This makes sense.

Been there. "Nerve flossing" and other physical therapy provided relief but it never lasted. Now im 98% cured from Deadhangs and whatever you call the exercise in this video:

I’ve been spamming reverse curl, farmer hold, hammer curl, behind the back wrist curl. I super them with other accessories every workout and have noticed substantial gains. Deadlift and heavy rows are good I guess but direct forearm work is crucial

Deadlifts for strength, deadhangs for endurance and hammer curls for a bit more width is what I do

has anyone build big forearms just from wrist rolls?
They burn my forearms like crazy.

Meanwhile I can barely feel my forearms burning with other exercises.

Direct forearm exercise like farmer's walks and wrist curls help a lot. I also find that hammer curls thicken the brachioradialis substantially.

PLEASE tell me if this shit builds huge forearms or if I'm wasting my time

I love the burn but I need huge forearms fast

It does but you shouldn't hold it out in front of you like that picture shows, you should just hold it down so your shoulders don't limit how much weight you can do.

Wrist curls and bicep curl variations that also hit the forearms like hammer curls and Zottman curls. If you want to be a really esoteric lifter you can do standard bicep curls with bad form to get some forearm work in.

They increase your crushing strength. That gives you brutally strong handshakes, that's about it.
