Why the fuck are burpees so fucking difficult IST?
I signed up for a boutique fitness club with group classes, to try and meet girls and do some meme workouts, and each time the trainer has us doing burpees. I don't understand how this exercise can be so fucking taxing and why the girls there are kicking my ass at this exercise. I'm not even a typical bloatlord, I'm at 10% bf, and I run 3-4 times a week for about 3-5 miles at 8:00min/mile pace, so I would say I have decent cardio. I squat, I deadlift, I can do 40 pushups no problem, but for some reason this combination of jumping and high reps has me completely gassed out way quicker than any of the girls there who don't even look like they lift. What gives? Does it have something to do with me being top-heavy or something?

10 burpees get me breathing hard. Either you aren't as fit as you think you are, or you're doing proper pushups and jumping as high as you can and the girls aren't. But either way, if you're getting your ass kicked the class is working, so maybe focus on that.
This tbh. If you aren't doing pushups at the bottom and going high as you can at the top, then you aren't really doing burpees. Zumba thots speeding through them and barely kicking their legs back isn't a 'mog

is based beyond belief. I'm up to 90 second goes on a wrestling mat. I can cross my arms and do brief bursts of 1 foot. Making a habit of crossovers every 10. Want to work on 1 foot until I can get alternating high knees

Just endure more like you breaking new record on rooning. I tried doing more burpees and it also improved my endurance on rooning (from 50min 10k to 45min)

Kek, they do have names like this. Did you do any burpees outside of the meme classes? I might start training them more intensively if it helps the roooning like that. I'm sort of hitting a plateau with 5k in 22:30 min now. I weigh 82kg though.

Yeah it really surprised me how difficult the fitness classes can be. I though since I was in shape (by normie standards, not by IST standards) it would be a walk in the park, but it really isn't. Of course with the upper body exercises I mog everyone, but the conditioning work like burpees, high rep lunges, high rep Bulgarian split squats, completely kick my ass every time. No dating success from it yet btw, I'm too afraid that if I start going around asking for numbers I will become >that guy.
If you don't want to get mogged by women who mog your burpee count, you should hop on the stair stepper/jacob's ladder. I intenally laugh when I catch men staring at me climbing 200 steps in 2 minutes/100 floors in 24 mins
