That’s not how keto works. People doing keto like this are lazy and haven’t read any of the studies or guides on how to follow this diet. An entire stick of butter would basically rape your macros and you wouldn’t be able to get enough protein in to round off your cals.
people eat alot of butter on keto simply because they cant afford eating alot of fatty meats everyday, its practical reason, nothing to do with the bullshit you posted, also its ironic you talking about people who dont read studies or guides on how to do keto but you dont know the most basic and fundemental principle of the diet that at least 70% of the calories on keto diet should come from fat, healthy fats are the most important thing on keto, the purpose of keto is to fix your messed up body, metabolism, and insulin resistence, the body transition from being fueled by glucose to being fueled by fat, eating too much protein just raises your insulin and damage the healing process that occur on actual ketogenic diet (not the meme keto diet that alot of people online like you think it is)
w-what moxyte? not him but how is that a made up defense? how else do you suggest people do a high fat diet easily and cheaply, i certainly know a way, it comes in two sticks!
nta but for those concerned about saturated you could get olive oil in bulk from Costco assuming its not being cut with seed oils. Just saying this for arguments sake as I think the saturated fat concerns are mostly unfounded and heating olive oil or any oil really except coconut is probably not a great idea
>Anyone try this?
Felt like trash when I ate a lot of butter and didn't lift. Felt great when I ate a lot of butter and exercised regularly >What's the science on fatty foods for bulking up
They're twice the calories per gram as either protein or carbs so they're easy to bulk on. A high fat diet does lead to more increases in fat gain but as long as you're still eating carbs the muscle gains are the same
>The fat you eat is the fat that you wear
No, the fat you eat is the fat you eat. Excess calories are the fat you wear.
Eat fat
Eat carbs
Eat protein
Simple as.
this
i'm a former skinnyfag and added a scoop of butter in whatever i was cooking to help me get my calories
milk is good for bulking too but it gives me some pimples every now and then. started adding kefir grains now to see if it helps

I eat a small spoon of butter enriched with vitamin A everyday. My skin and eyes feel more moist and healthy. It's a small amount so even when I don't exercise it's not doing anything bad to my health.
I wouldn't use it as a bulk mechanism, too much saturated fat isn't good, even if you're fit and exercise regularly.
people will be fat slobs, cook everything they eat with sneed oils, eat processed slop and eat outside but will lecture you on health when they see you eat eggs and butter, clown world
So how is cooking in raw butter worse than cooking in some rancid vegetable oil that has seen bathed in solvents and gone through a deodorization process?
The number one killer of humans is heart disease. Yes don't change anything, obviously what we are doing is working. Our ancestors had it "all figured out"
If that's true then how do you explain it when 99% of the fat people consume on a daily basis is monounsaturated vegetable oil. Every product on the market that requires a fat uses vegetable oi.

99% of people also consume large amounts of saturated fat. Whats your point?

no they don't, the majority of products on the store shelves are low fat and if there is a fat it is a vegetable oil

All dairy has saturated fat
All meat has saturated fat
Are you telling me a 99% of the population is vegan?

ah yes, the standard american diet, known for being high in dairy and meat.. so true
The vegetable oil industry has placed it's former Ceos, officials etc. within government agencies as well as lobbying them to reach certain decisions. It does fund a large amount of scientific studies. It also does fund the med schools as part of the way of getting them to play ball with them and say what they want to say.
it doesn't matter if every government official in all departments extending even as far as military was made up of seed oil lobbyists, they will still call you a schizo chud etc etc
It doesn't matter if they call me a schizo chud. It doesn't change the fact that using money to influence regulation and the statements and research of health officials, doctors, and scientists in their favor has been standard practice since the gilded era.

They have. However, they're also supporting the same legislation as the seed oil industries. They're the same people who are promoting fake meat as are literally manufacturing it. They're all owned and controlled by the same people if you're willing to look into who owns what shares of the companies.
Butter is just heavy cream. It has almost no protein since that portion of the milk was separated from it, so it's not good for gaining muscle. The saturated fatty acids it has and the fat soluble vitamins it has are good for you in the correct quantities. Butter from exclusively grass fed cows is a good source of those.
>butter and bread
Yum yum
And a dash of nettle salt is just UMA DELICIA
It'll bulk you up alright, butter boy.
I’ve been eating nothing but sticks of butter for 3 weeks. My poop’s could probably be classified as a chemical weapon
unironically ask a ketolard, those fuckers eat sticks of butter straight up

Sad
I knew a guy on death row who ate a pound of butter every day for like a month and died of congestive heart failure.

Fuck off Moxyte
ketochuds dilate and also die early
>carb enjoyers are now ketofags because they also eat beef, eggs, milk, and butter
just use it to cook or put it on your coffee when you're out of milk (don't go full ketard on this, a teaspoon is enough)

I can confirm vitamin A (probably) has this effect. I have skin like a baby for a few days after eating beef liver.
>too much saturated fat isn't good,
Nonsense. Even worse its probably gnomish nonsense
I said "eat better" you retard
this is the only funny thing anyone will say in this thread

the vegetable oil industry says the butter will give you heart disease because saturated fat or something
>the vegetable oil industry
Weird way to say health officials and scientists and doctors
appeal to authority, strawman, loaded question
I wasn't making an argument buddy

Oh so just ignore those retards and continue to enjoy butter like every other human for thousands of years, ok.

They have. However, they're also supporting the same legislation as the seed oil industries. They're the same people who are promoting fake meat as are literally manufacturing it. anyone got the butter vs oils meme?
processed seed something something cleaned in solvents = good
whipped cows milk = bad
