Let's face it you're mentally challenged and it shows.
The spider test doesn't specify any specific caffeine dose and is irrelevant for humans due to differences in metabolization.

As for the CBF, it entirely ignores that caffeine as an adenosin antagonist leads to an increase of adenosin receptors.
And more receptors lead to an increase in blood flow.
        tl;dr you're a tard.

Just drink green tea. It's not quitting caffeine but significantly reducing intake. The L Theanine in green tea will counteract the jittery effect of the low caffeine content (30 mg vs 90 mg in coffee). You'll feel much clearer.

Maybe it takes more than 2 or 3 weeks for you to reach baseline. Taper slowly if you can't just bite the bullet, and do it disciplined and planned out like exercise so you can't frick it up. I.e. 2 cups of coffee or less each day for a week or 2, 1 cup or less each day for a week or 2, half cup coffee or 1 cup green tea each day for a week or 2. That can be a 6 week taper if you really need it to be. Don't bullshit yourself about a 24 oz from Starbucks being one cup of coffee also. Standard 8-12 oz serving. Carry around a travel mug and have them put coffee in it like an absolute autist if you really need to. Being an absolute autist about tapering my consumer is how I'm still 5 years free from smoking.

there's are always as many studies saying x thing is bad than there are saying x thing is good
nutritional and life style science is as a corrupt as a rural Nigerian licensing bureau and you regularly get colleges and research firms publishing non-peer-reviewed studies coming to whatever fricking conclusion they want for the sole purpose of clout and grant money, often from benefactors with a vested interest in a specific 'fact' being elucidated. more outrageous conclusions bring more clout, pay-to-publish journals don't give a shit about validity as long as they're getting paid, and the fact that it takes more time and energy to debunk bullshit rather than create it means that the pro-bullshit faction will never cease what they're doing and can always overwhelm the skeptic 'hey, let's check into things here before making any big calls' faction through sheer volume. this goes for onions, nofap, coffee, whatever superfood is popular this month, and so on.

by the way, did you know that dihydrogen monoxide (DHMO) can be fatal if taken in large enough dosages? you may not know it, but you consume large amounts of it every day. you better make some dietary changes, goy- I mean pal.

how fast do you get caffein tolerance?

last week I took a 200mg caffein pill as a pre workout for the first time and it hit really fricking hard, I had almost too much energy
but when I took another pill two days later it had no noticeable effect, today I took another one and again nothing happened
was it placebo or did I get tolerance after just one pill?

      Anonymous

Maybe your dopamine etc. was just drained. But yeah, caffeine builds up a tolerance really fast. Something like 100mg for one week or 400mg or 3 days and you will have some slight withdrawl symptoms.

      Anonymous

Extremely quickly. I tend to use caffeine until the 400mg a day limit doesn't do anything for me. Then I cleanse for 2-8 weeks and start using caffeine again. I am usually back to baseline (feeling something with usage, but not super energetic anymore) within 2 days of resuming caffeine usage, especially if I'm utilizing energy drinks and not just diet sodas or teas.

Serious question. Does caffeine just destroys you sleep or is it a meme? I drink 6 shots of espresso and the last is around 6pm. I sleep at 2 am but it’s been two days that I’m not sleeping properly. I literally went for a leg day with 4 hours of sleep. Every night I’m saying to myself that I should quit coffee but the next morning I’m at Starbucks.

Oh also is video gaming at night makes you tense?

I've read that caffeine has a half-life of about 8 hours, so you can probably think of it as drinking half an espresso at 10pm. I'd recommend not drinking more after 4pm or 2pm even. Caffeine majorly fricks with your sleep, I experienced it firsthand for years as a kid and had no idea about it. Unfortunately found out way too fricking late. Note that there's loads of caffeine in regular drinks like tea or coke.
Also caffeine is addictive, as in, you'll have withdrawals if you stop using it. If you're a fairly heavy user as you describe I would recommend drinking less over time rather than quitting cold turkey, it can actually frick you up.

      Anonymous

      Not necessarily but it can.
Half time and turn total elimination time if caffeine can vary wildly between people and increase depending on liver function, medication, dosage etc.
If you're really unlucky it could take you over 12 hours until no caffeine is in your system.
Although of course low concentrations have negligible effects.
      Like

mentioned it you probably shouldn't drink any that late.
As for the withdrawal symptoms, if I quit after drinking a lot it's similar to a 4 day influenza.
Headaches, tiredness, joint pain, muscle ache and sensitivity to light tend to happen if going cold turkey.

study doesn't say much beyond that all caffeine users appear to have reduced CBF compared to non-users, as to how this translates to real outcomes (taking into account their confounding factors for failure to control for prior or recent use), there's nothing to conclude or discuss at a result of the data.
studies are only as good as the endpoints collected, and in this case, it doesn't tell you much because people aren't dropping dead from drinking coffee and many of the productive class are caffeine addicts, which doesn't follow the logic of this reduction in CBF resulting in impairment.
unfortunately the discussion section doesn't touch any of the theoretical basis for why the frick this matters besides CBF lower = bad, probably because they have no valuable theoretical basis to put forward, which heavily devalues the study overall.

    >Evidence from receptor binding, physiology, and behavioral studies suggest an adaptation to the effects of caffeine following chronic intake. This adaptation presumably accounts for the development of tolerance to the vasoconstrictive and neurostimulant effects of caffeine. Some evidence exists for the sensitization (e.g. conversion to high affinity state) of adenosine receptors following chronic caffeine use [Green and Stiles,1986], whereas receptor binding studies suggest that the majority of this adaptation is due to receptor upregulation (e.g. increase in receptor number)

Why are you not cycling caffeine to boost your adenosine receptors?

But we don't know if cerebral blood flow is reduced because of cognitive decline, or if it causes cognitive decline.
