Caffeine makes my anxiety flare up like nothing else but I drink it because I like the energy. Any advice on quitting and taking on life decaf IST?
I'm taking the no caffeine pill at the moment and I'm definitely enjoying a steadier flow of energy. My imagination in general is a lot more vivid somehow and lucid dreaming is through the roof. Also seeing gains in creativity which is probably related to imagination. My reply is probably more /x/ than IST but yeah it gets easier after the first week depending on your current intake. I am drinking decaf, I love and enjoy the taste of black, unsweet coffee at all times of day and night without making me feel erratic or messing with my sleep. Also beware of things you might consume that have 'hidden' caffeine. It's frustratingly present in SO many things.
>Stupid and unrelated and bad advice in general
It's supposed to be stupid it's a joke. Rats can eat shit and engines are actually sensitive to what kind of fuel you're using. Das. Da. Joke.

Switch to green tea and gradually reduce your intake.
I have a similar problem and I quit coffee for a year. After I found a job I've started back but limit myself to 2-3 cups per day max.
I drink my coffee with milk and try to make each cup last a long time so I spread my caffeine consumption throughout the day. Also, L-Theanine takes the edge off.
Your body has all the energy you need, caffeine is a cope. Get off it and be natural. I bet you believe you need to eat something before a workout. (You don't)
Are you taking instant coffee? Try buying the highest quality roasted beans you can find, and make the coffee yourself. Most instant coffee has mold and has been heavily processed. I've found that instant coffee gives me the jitters while making it myself isn't nearly as bad. You could always turn to 100% chocolate and eat some of it once in a while.

drink tea instead
lower levels of caffeine
+ containes theanine, which alleviates the anxiety produced by caffeine.

I switched to black tea. I can see why people used to care about tea. Or maybe that is fake history to hide what they really cared about.
>what they really cared about
wiener
Just don't drink it and eat an apple instead. It isn't that hard.
Take it with L. Theanine, it will remove the anxiety.

L-theanine
I stopped all caffeine intake and my sleep has been amazing. I got a slight headache for a few hours but that was it for the withdrawl.
