That's how your lats work, when your chest is up the line of motion is in-line with your lats

Just do push ups, sit ups, and squats. You really don't need much else.

Move from the armpit. Squeeze the armpit when you're coming to the top of the rep during pulling and pushing movements.
Sissy squats, nordic curls, sprints, and pistol squats are enough to build some okay looking legs.

I am definitely no expert, but personally I found diamond push-ups gave me my newbie gains for my triceps incredibly quickly, so maybe any other new calisthenics bros might wanna incorporate lots of diamond pushups for when you're working triceps 😉

youre far past getting any newbie gains if you can do sets of diamond push-ups, its just gains then

I could do diamond push ups even when absolutely new. They only went up to like 10-12 max compared to 20-25 normal push ups but that's still enough...

are explosive movements the best for calisthenics?

I don't know why people are acting like explosive reps are bad here. Clapping/plyo push ups and jump squats are explosive versions of their exercises and they're great as long as you do them right. You can go explosive going up and still control the negative of the reps.

Anything I can do for rear delts and pecs ??

Inverted rows for rear delts. Wider for more rear delt focus. Push up and dip variations for pecs obviously.

Do that for 10 years and then come back to me and tell me again how great they are.

        >even ring dips
you're saying that as if ring dips were easier but they're not, I've been trying to get started with ring dips for a long time but I can barely hold the top position

Explosive movements are best for fricking up your joints.
Only idiots, who want to look cool, use lot of momentum when doing strength training.

Only idiots, who want to look cool, use lot of momentum when doing strength training.

Explosiveness in bodyweight exercises refers to the flow in the movement, not the acceleration, and always in proper form. For a pull-up it would mean you complete the pull at a constant flowing relatively high speed and ideally complete the downwards movement equally flowing but slowly.
You will for sure see people doing jerking movements chasing high reps, but I have never heard that recommended by any kind of authority, even self-proclaimed ones know better. Pretty much no one says you should be doing anything that would harm your joints

Why are pull-ups and chin-ups so fun bros? I enjoy doing them so much but everything else is pretty fricking boring

The movement just feels good to do imo, but I never really have time to get bored with any calisthenics workouts. there no going to the gym, no setup, minimal thought process. If I'm in a rush I do leg stuff while resting between sets of push or pull and I'll be done before my dog even starts compulsively licking my sweaty calves
