    >STILL can't get a gf
    It's so over.

I mean, are you trying to land a fatty? If you're shooting for a human-sized woman, your odds are worse than they've ever been.
If you can't even land a fatty, I think you're either not trying or you live in a tiny community.

Same. I'm in the best shape of my life, dick actually grew and it's still a neverending cycle of approach woman, drop spaghetti, hate women, want to kill self.

Don't approach women. Just let them come to you.

This is the real problem. I find the vast majority of modern women unappealing. Even the ones that are 10-15 pounds overweight don't appeal to me.

The real numbers are worse because the skinny fats are going by undetected on bmi. It is more like 1/10 at most are healthy, and it is more men than women in that group.

I was thinking of this today. It really has gotten bad. There are so many literal fat people around. Like, being a normal weight means you are in the minority. It's fricking bizarre.

No, it's all pretty much fricked.

There wasn’t a fast food joint on every corner either. I pass by no less than 12 fast food places on my commute to work every day. 13 now that they’re building a Chipotle.

      Stupid binary thinking there.
People are fat because the food's fricked and people are cattle that won't fix anything

The food is fine. Could be better of course but nothing about it causes obesity or overweight besides the amount of it that's eaten.

But surely good quality affects overeating to a measurable degree?

We’re past the point of no return, OP.
Our cities have been spending billions on auto-centric transportation infrastructure for decades. Personal vehicles are literally THE form of mass transportation that require the least physical activity possible. You walk across your driveway to get in, drive, park, and walk across the parking lot to get to some mega mart. Chances are you need to get to the clothing store on the other end of the power centre. 1/4 mile away, but do you walk? Hell no, why would you?
Consider the decades of time and literal trillions of dollars it would take to reconstruct our society with a greater focus on trains, trams, cycling, etc. we’re in too deep.

I was born in Europe, lived in America for 20 years, now I’m back in Europe and own my own business here.

I went back to the States for the first time in 3 years for my best friend’s wedding, was shocked at how fat and brown everybody was everywhere I went.

break it down by race and you'll have the answer for why it's rising, and if there's any hope of it reversing (no)

Every thread like this, there's the one moron who makes a comment about how it's just black people getting fat. Just ignore it. He doesn't live in any reality anyone actually knows.

All we have to do go to go back to the old days is have health insurance for fat people cost more. Kind of like how they did for smokers.
Fat people cost more, make them pay for it. Economic incentives are real.

bro the only reason this is happening is because the US was smart enough to make fast food first. asian countries are getting fat too now, and the ones who aren't are too poor to afford anything except rice and sugar. give it time and you'll be singing a very different tune. oi

OP gives 1950s and 2020 numbers while your graph is 1960 to 2008. And OP gave nothing about the overweight population in the 1950s. The data both of you give matches up.

        Anonymous

OP's picture compares Obesity in 1960 against Overweight + Obese + Super Obese in 2020, with the implication that only 10% of the population was unhealthy. In reality 40+% of the population was already unhealthy even 60 years ago. If we go back to 1960, we will not be much better off. It's like saying:
        >In 2020 I eat 12 cheeseburgers a day
        >In 2000 I only ate 2 cheeseburgers a day (not counting the 8 hamburgers)
        >How do I go back to my healthy 2000 lifestyle?
