    Nearly nobody ever posts body in these threads. It's stupid anyway, splits are a way to organize your training, to an extent it's preference

    I like PPL but only see it as a way of dividing the body. All the "arguments" against it is that you get too much volume or shit like that but there's nothing that says you have to do it 6 days per week or do a huge amount of exercises.

    Lower days are stupid.
    Squats+deadlifts are literally everything you need for the lower body.
    Deadlifts are good as the first exercise in pull day (or whatever you call the day when you do back)
    And then there's no reason to take a whole day just for squats. Just add them at the beginning of another workout.

      When you start lifting hard enough to need more than 24 hours of recovery you'll see why squats and deadlifts get their own days.

    How is my routine that i've spent a couple years fine tuning? ULUL, emphasize chest and triceps on the first upper day and back on the other upper day. Train biceps and side delts all 4 days. Emphasize deadlift on one lower day, and squat on the other. Train calfs all 4 days. Pick one or two compunds I want to advance in and add them in to the other day temporarily, e.g. wanting to get my bench up so I bench on monday and friday even though friday is my back day, deadlift on wednesday and sunday and put squat on the backburner while i try to get my dead up, etc.

    its just literally impossible to recover from a real workout in 48 hrs or whatever. if you need to train the same muscle more than once per week then you're not training
    bro split is the logical conclusion

      I think this might be the case because I decided to do high intensity training and can not train the same muscle group for shit within the same week.
