This. I don’t have disc issues but my sciatic nerve is fricked up any time I do anything that requires me to get low. I have huge legs, only downside is I’m insanely inflexible
Barbell squats are the easiest, and at the same time the hardest way to get huge legs. When I was squatting 3 times a week doing SS my legs got so big they were chaffing together after just a few months, and I also got huge stretch marks all over my inner thighs. I don't think I can say you'll get the same results, because it'll probably take you a lot longer to get the size without heavy squats, but you could definitely get some good legs without doing them. No particular exercise is absolutely necessary, and if you find stuff you don't mind or even like doing you have more chance of sticking at it consistently. Do leg extensions too.
Boys do squats. I have never seen someone over 25 or with serious mass do squats or deadlifts at my home gym. In my uni gym, all the fat powershitter bloatlords squat.
>narrow stance, high bar, ATG >slow eccentric, pause at the bottom, spend minimal time at lockout >belt + weightlifting shoes + if lower back rounds at bottom use more heel elevation >moderate to high reps >optionally front squat instead (might want to ditch the pause at the bottom and maybe lower the reps) >optionally do 1.5 reps for even more difficulty
Here's your path to 27+" legs king
I respectfully disagree.
Proper squats should be done in bare feet on either a wood platform or dirt.
Anything else disrupts your ki flow and you'll be heading to snap city without it
Nothing
Nothing´s like squats
I mean its like
Nothing compares to squats
You can do leg presses
buy why?
why do an inferior movement?
Why do a movement that looks good but produces hardly any results?
I don't care how much weight you can use
Id rather do three good plates get in fifteen to twenty good reps and reap the benefit
I mean there is a reason people don't squat
its hard! its hard!
people don't want whats hard they want what's easy
What looks showy
Forget about it
in fact forget about the weight
just squat correctly
That is the secret
Absolutely
>flat feet >scoliosis >disc herniations >have had 2 back surgeries, most recent being a severe spinal cord one
all of these things don't allow me to barbell squat or deadlift. I do other things for legs but it seems like they will never grow because of my limitations
That’s what I do because of disc issues and my legs and ass are growing better than ever
i find RDLs to be pretty good for building my ass. i do single leg rdls.

post legs
In good faith, I hate squatting too and want this to be true
>I hate how the bar feels on my traps
literally just get a sleeve
I'd rather die than use b***h pad
yes
squatting is THE BEST strength ans mass builder for legs, but it's not the only way to build legs

Yes
Is the easies way too but there are more ways to do it.
just enjoy the pain and you will see progress
Squats are what separate the boys from the men. No one likes doing squats. We do it because we have to. Its our cross to bear.
I like doing squats.
squats are my favorite exercise when my low back holds up. I prefer higher reps and high bar.
I'm a cute boy :3

heavy squatting is the shittiest thing you can do. literally 100% chance of lingering injury.
either do high volume atg squats, or just machine it.
Bulgarian split squats with dumbbells. I will never squat a barbell ever again
>I hate how the bar feels on my traps
then grow some traps or do front squats, you pussy

I hit a 15rm @ 315 while listening to platz talk about squats. The man has so much passion, it rubbed off on me
I'd like to rub one off on you, too.
Hey as long as you do it through a hole in the wall so i can pretend your anime girl, sure
can i get a .webm of good skwuat form?
You can. Bulgarian split squats are better muscle builders than back squats especially if you front load (still have to use a barbell though)

You don't need squats but not doing them because they're not comfortable speaks volume. Everything becomes uncomfortable at some or another..
