You can get a good physique with literally any form of physical activity. Its just you need to put more focus on aesthetics if thats your goal

Yes, but it's better if you've been lifting for a while already, brosplits are best for maintaining, but you can definitely see progress with one if you keep at it like any other routine like said

      >put more focus on aesthetics
What exactly is that? I have to concentrate my mind and think about some jacked dude while i'm lifting weights?

Probably referring to less compound and more isolation exercises to cause less CNS fatigue, as well as higher number of reps for hypertrophy.

        Basically not being a powershitter

was about to say, the correct brosplit order is:
      chest
      legs
      shoulders
      back
      arms

Why wouldn't this workout be providing results ? Wouldn't this be optimal for newbies ?

Most people would recommend hitting the main muscle groups twice a week when starting out so you can max out beginner gains faster, it's why PPL is so common
But noobs can get gains doing literally anything as long as they are consistent with it

      No such thing

I mean, after 8 sets of chest exercises i'm done for.

yeah, why not. training frequency largely doesn't matter if the weekly volume is maintained, I think it was usually between 10 and 20 of total sets per a muscle groups for the best result, but often differed significantly between individuals

the main problem with it is that you get disproportionately higher volume for arms and shoulders on top on training it more frequently, that's why FB, PP, PPL, UL etc. are usually a better idea, or design a better brosplit, without an arm day for that matter. I like to train a single main compund lift centered around a main movement pattern, i.e. vertical/horizontal/lower body push/pull plus accesories, e.g. bench/row/trap bar DL/OHP/pull up/HB squat, which is basically PPL with a different emphasis each day, or I combine bench+row and OHP+pull ups into a single days, which is basically Upper/Lower

I'm not saying not to train arms, I'm saying a separate arm day in that split is moronic, because it will either put unintended emphasis on them or impede their recovery. can you give a logical reason for training the triceps 3 times per week, the biceps twice, but the back, legs or chest once?

          Anonymous

yes, ive literally never seen a guy whose physique looked bad because of small chest or small back. Small legs i hve but thats because they literally NEVER train legs, they are conpletely untrained.

However most physiques if not all would look better if they had bigger arms and shoulders. So it makes sense to put more emphasis on what matters

            Anonymous

putting aside that it's bullshit, shoulders matter the most, certainly more than triceps, following your logic more frequency always means more gains, why even do a bro split at all and everyone should switch to full body, just with more arms volume compared with the rest. you also completely ignore the point about impeding recovery, which can be a real issue with most likely unintended arms volume with the chest shoulders and back days

              Anonymous

Certain muscles require higher frequency to be trained than others, arms, shoulders, abs, mid amount of frequency is chest and back, least amount of frequency is the neck and the legs to make them grow efficiently.

it might not be the best or the fastest way to get jacked but if you put enough consistent effort in you'll get results

Just hit the muscle group with intensity each day and sure, but why bother when you can do the ultimate middle finger to any type of training and just do Sumo DDL, Push Press and Cheat Curls, most likely every other day with high rep focused work for everything else than Sumo DDL? You'll get strong and jacked.

Literally all the jacked dudes you see at the gym are doing bro splits. Only manlets, dyels and powetshitters fell in the other meme routines

No. It's a highly inefficient split that only works with roidtrannies and is promoted by roidtrannies to keep you small and weak so that you'll eventually blackpilled yourself into becoming another roidtroony or quitting gym and working out altogether. Every gymbros I know who used to do brosplit got better gains and thus better physique once they switched to something better and regret wasting their time with this Black person-level IQ split.

Define good. This is just unoptimal because you can train all muscles effectively more than once a week, sometimes up to 5 times a week.

Everything works for a newbie, but id recommend full body - as a newbie you dont need to hit the chest with 10 sets for it to grow, you DONT have the problem of advanced with "muh stubborn muscles" - you could get 85% of growth on 70% of muscles with full body per workout, whereas a targeted split would get you "force" certain bodyparts to grow aka youd get 95% of growth on 25% of muscles per workout

this is broscience but you get my point - if you dont then you should have a nice day low iq, if you disagree then reply

you don't need an entire day dedicated to shoulders imo.
On chest day, do incline chest press instead of flat. Also do side raises, and if you have some gas left in the tank do some shoulder presses.
On back day, finish with rear delt flys.
