Can't lose weight even though I eat little

I have been eating way below my BMR for quite some time and I can't seem to lose weight. I have around 330 pounds and it just doesn't make sense. I go for walks here and there but is it possible my metabolism has slowed down so much bros?

hypo-thyroidal people's TDEE decreases with the decrease of food such that they're perpetually at maintenance+
they might even gain weight on thousands of calories less because they become lethargic and lie in bed/sofa all day even more
the solution is actually to eat more or rather more often so that you increase your metabolism and activity and energy levels

Similar is happening to me. I'm sitting at 288 now and I've been dieting for the past 2 and a half years. I count every gram of food and I'm eating 2500 kcal at maintenance now. I think I've done some damage from dieting so hard for so long

Go see a doctor. Thyroid problems exist.

If 2500kcal maintains your current weight then start eating only 1500kcal. If that doesn't work, also get your thyroid checked.
Since you weight every gram of food you eat, I would like to know your diet before I accuse you of eating more calories than you think you are

Had a doctors exam a week or so ago. 95% of my results were fine, including thyroid results.

CICO is physics. You can not break the laws of physics. Even if you are a fat frick that has his own gravity field

I know, that's why it doesn't make sense.

I mainly eat chicken and rice (no sauces), or chicken salad and the like. Generally all the meals I eat are 500 kcal per meal. I rarely eat white bread and drinks are with sugar substitutes

Post what you've been eating this week.
      Also
      >dieting for 2 1/2 years
      >still 288 lbs
How fricking fat were you when you started? Unless you were 500+lbs you are doing something wrong.

        >Worst case starvation scenario is that your metabolism drops by 5-15%. It doesn't just grind to a halt.
        >So either you are vastly underestimating your calorie intake or you are lying.
        >Go 12x12x12
        >1200 cals a day, 12km walked a day and 3 sets of 12 reps a day on a ppl split.

        Yesterday:
Gyros in pita bread - 1200 kcal (it's less but let's round it up)
Green bean soup for dinner with a piece of bread - around 500 kcal
2x white coffees (around 50 kcal each)

        Today so far:
        1 white coffee - 50 kcal
1 chicken salad (400 kcal, no bread, no dressing)

If that is true and you measured all the items individually instead of just using google to get you "calories of a gyros pita", you probably reached a plateau if your weight has stagnated for a while. Remember that you should only be weighting yourself once a week, at the same time, with the same clothes, best after waking up, before eating and drinking anything and after your morning piss/shit. And only then, if your weight stays the same for over a week. while you kept to your diet. you know you reached a plateau. They can lost from 2 weeks to 3 months. You either just persevere and power through them or switch to maintenance for a week or two to let your body adjust to your current weight and then continue dieting.
Gyros is pretty salty which can make you retain water too.

OP, the process works. You are somehow doing it wrong.

Do not drink anything with calories in it.
Go on a walk every day.
Only eat what you cook or prepare for yourself and ensure these are real meals
Never snack. It keeps you hungry.

DUDE I'm in the same position, just came to IST to ask about it actually
was 430 lbs about 6 months ago, started keto now I'm down to 335 right but I've been stuck here for weeks despite not eating much
I don't work out at all though and never have, and am pretty sedentary. I'd just rather starve myself to lose weight than get hot and sweaty
