    This is true. I go to the gym 2-3 times a week and lost 20 pounds in 2 months just by not eating fricking bread or drinking beer. I bench 250 lbs.

    Just do the saltine test. Put a saltine in your mouth, give it one crunch, and start a timer. You're timing to see how long it takes before the cracker goes from salty and hard to soft and lightly sweet. It's a measure of how much amylase is in your saliva which is a direct measure of your carb tolerance. If it takes less than 15 seconds to break down then you have no limit on carbs. Every second from 15 seconds onwards, minus 10g from a 250g limit. Anything over 30 seconds means you should limit your carb intake to under 100g per day

        It's real. If you lack the enzymes the break down starches quickly in your saliva they're going to digest worse in your intestines as a result which will lead to bloating, potential blood sugar problems, and so on.

    Favourite low carb meals lads? I tried eating more carbs for energy during this cut, but weight just falls off me when I eat less than 50g carbs a day. Gonna make some southern style fried cabbage with bacon later.

      Try chicken milanese with it grilled and marinated in balsamic evoo and pepper instead of fried or baked. Nice cheese for saturated fat and I forget if my favorite place has simple syrup in the vinaigrette or not.

          I suck at bread I've been on more of as flat and lil wider fetticune heavy on the garlic pasta water and light on the heat for monte buerre so there's a lil pool of butter, plus chiffonade basil at the end. I never liked any sauced pasta tbh but I feel like this technique would make pretty much anything sick, as opposed to aiollo for shrimp and peppers and shit.

          Always gotta do chicken naturale right before the pasta is done any time you get a whole chicken, and scarpariello/vesuvio with the thighs.

          Been working on my roasted potatoes to be a more rich smashed potato lately for steaks too, had it sick as frick one time like that with low roasted then like 425-450 whole chicken with chimichurri.

      A better meal prep option is bourgenounne or whatever the frick for cheap beef and I mean you can skip the potatoes and it's great because 5/lb beef or less is way more and better quality protein than anything else.

      Just get keen on the ratio and what kinds of vegetable scraps you put in the stock and add it rather late after letting the preferably beef or chicken bones and cartilage boil and refill for a few hrs. Keeping garlic/shallot/scallion ends also makes it way better, carrot/onion/celery ends should be the base. Overcooked veggie stock is not as vibrant.
