do I read this like "no, cardio can't fuck"? or, "no cardio (i.e. in the world) can't fuck"? or is she saying she doesn't do cardio, so she can't fuck?
Early 00s broscience said cardio kills gains. In reality, having an established level of endurance such that you can you can do full sets of ten without feeling like you've taken a body shot from Tyson is useful.
Even the 'cortisol kills gains' is a meme. Only if severely prolonged exposure to cortisol will it be catabolic.
But yes, marathon/long distance running will put you in a pussy mindset.
'Fan Dance': SAS. 24km, 886m mountain, 40lb ruck, 4 hours.
'Long Drag' : SAS. 40 miles, 55lb ruck, 24hr time limit.
'Kepi Blanc': French Foreign Legion. 60-80km in full kit over two days.
'Vasbyt': South African STF. 4 days, no food or sleep, 200km of carrying a railway track with an iron ball tied on, plus activities.
This is the endurance equivalent of punching a brick wall to "strengthen" your knuckles.
Fatty here. Will start with the recommendation of ~4 hours of zone 2 steady cardio per week + a session of high intensity cardio per week.
Since my heart is shit, walking will put my bpm in the zone, so that is taken care of.
But what should I do for the HIIT? I don't have access do a gym, running is out of the question(I want my knees in good function).
Will burpees do the job?

I guess I'll go with burpees then.
Jumping jacks if you're megafat
Tae bo (shadow boxing and ladder drills for the nongay version)

I always loved doing the fan dance. I once did an insanely good time where I clocked a sub 6 minute mile on a downhill segment.
TABBing is the only cardio I have any talent in, I’m too heavy to be a good runner or cyclist. But being naturally heavyset made me good at this.
Passed hills at 20 years old with shitcunt training methodologies, failed continuation
not the anon you asked but I use Thrill of the fight for the same purpose, its against AI and its great, theres no gamey nonsense just throw combos and avoid punches until someone gets KO'd I can burn thorough 800-1000kj in about 40 mins. >Devs are working on PvP version
Occulus/Meta 2 requires a faceberg account to use but has the advantage of no wires/other equipment and is a relatively cheap price, zuk might watch you jerk off though
What's the best cardio? I think it's sprinting but unfortunately I can't sprint due to some serious injuries. Thinking of buying a punching bag and going ham for a few minutes .
Just run long distance every day. I run 4 miles a day these days, down from 8 around a year ago. You shouldn't ever NEED to do more than 4 though. Only do it if you enjoy running (I do not) or if you simply MUST have a few hundred extra calories every day. >T. 42 BPM resting
It's completely random in my experience, In most cases, people get results like yours, but since November I've experienced borderline-erectile-dysfunction. Then again I also started nofap at the time. Did it for a little over four months, forcing myself to end it in early March. Still haven't got my libido back.
Whatever works for you. Personally, cardio hasn't HURT me yet, so I'm gonna keep on running.
Side note: I'd increase your frequency within the next month, try to get it to every other day by mid-late August.
Hardly, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't go on walks. Being out in nature and having time to think is great. Still do something high intensity like sprinting, punching bag, jump rope, going uphill on a bike, etc.
I have a mile long hill coming up to my house so I do most of my grocery shopping by bike. I'm allowed to bring a backpack in the store because I don't live in an area infested with morons. Riding up that in medium gear as fast as I can while carry 7 gallons of milk is a hell of a workout that only takes about 5 minutes.
I have the rower as a backup but I think I'm fine, I have good shoes and the treadmill is much lower impact than running outside.
I'm just waiting for these supposed mood and well-being gains.

Cardio is essential. Your heart is your most important muscle. Skipping heart day will literally kill you, gains mean shit compared to it. You have to do both. This is common sense and anyone who skips cardio is just lazy.
What's a good cardio routine that I can do from my room? >no gym >no equipment
Have skip ropes but I'm shit at coordination so it takes a while to get my heart rate going.
pic is not me but close in body fat ratio. Been doing weights from my chair too much and way behind on cardio and now I'm stuck with the ugly, skinny fat belly fat like picrel
Been able to stick to push up-jacks for a while now but wondering if there are other stationary exercises to get the heart rate going in little time.
Because I don’t have time to do high intensity stuff properly. I have 8 gym sessions per week, some twice a day. I already cycle ~40minutes a day so I take care of my zone 2-3 cardio.
do I read this like "no, cardio can't fuck"? or, "no cardio (i.e. in the world) can't fuck"? or is she saying she doesn't do cardio, so she can't fuck?
She’s saying that people who do no cardio can’t fuck
idk but it didn't say that originally i can tell by the pixels and having seen quite a few
HWD can fuck
It kills gains, simple as.
Post body
Your fat.
I don't do cardio because too much and it causes muscle to deteriorate
Early 00s broscience said cardio kills gains. In reality, having an established level of endurance such that you can you can do full sets of ten without feeling like you've taken a body shot from Tyson is useful.
Zone 2 Cardio only.
The heart is a muscle too.
Don't do long distance because it will spike too much cortisol, killing gains.
Of course fit will translate this is never do cardio.
Even the 'cortisol kills gains' is a meme. Only if severely prolonged exposure to cortisol will it be catabolic.
But yes, marathon/long distance running will put you in a pussy mindset.
What is zone 2 cardio?
I’m obese so I just walk my dog for an hour a day and then speed walk on the treadmill with incline for 30 minutes or more.

IST is fucking retarded.
I am also rerarded. Replied to wrong anon.
>'Kepi Blanc': French Foreign Legion. 60-80km in full kit over two days.
This is not impressive or grueling at all.
Lots of things can happen in 48h while you walk and/or try to sleep.
This is the endurance equivalent of punching a brick wall to "strengthen" your knuckles.

The fan dance is a fuck of a lot nicer to do than a marathon in my personal experience.
I always loved doing the fan dance. I once did an insanely good time where I clocked a sub 6 minute mile on a downhill segment.

I can barely get to a 10 min mile and then barely make it back to the start hunched over sweating like im doing the Mogadishu mile.
Only cardio I do is VR boxing, 5 3-minute rounds and you get tired af - i do this every day after my strength workouts.
I've done 12 rounds, but that's if I haven't done another workout that day
That sounds awesome. I used to train and spar but don't have complete disregard for my health and didn't want to get headaches all the time any more.
Do you box the computer or other people online? Sounds cool
I also want to box but work a cerebral job and don’t want to make myself retarded
not the anon you asked but I use Thrill of the fight for the same purpose, its against AI and its great, theres no gamey nonsense just throw combos and avoid punches until someone gets KO'd I can burn thorough 800-1000kj in about 40 mins.

What VR set do you use? What console/platform? Not a gamer, don’t know much about options
Occulus/Meta 2 requires a faceberg account to use but has the advantage of no wires/other equipment and is a relatively cheap price, zuk might watch you jerk off though
Whats a good metric for good cardio?
Try a combat sport. See how you feel after 1 round of sparing. Doesn't matter if it's grappling or striking.
This. Endurance, core training, and fundamentals are the basic building blocks of any good fighter.
What's the best cardio? I think it's sprinting but unfortunately I can't sprint due to some serious injuries. Thinking of buying a punching bag and going ham for a few minutes .
Bro seriously think about buying a quest 2 ($300) and getting Thrill of the Fight
Best cardio shape of my life from that game.
https://www.realityremake.com/articles/the-thrill-of-the-fight-is-the-best-workout-in-vr
It's the equivalent of swimming laps at vigorous pace, according to MET levels, and the only cardio better than it is only sprinting
Cardiobros, how do you work your heart most effectively in order to lower your resting BPM? I want to get mine as low as 45 or some shit.
Just run long distance every day. I run 4 miles a day these days, down from 8 around a year ago. You shouldn't ever NEED to do more than 4 though. Only do it if you enjoy running (I do not) or if you simply MUST have a few hundred extra calories every day.

Kek
4 miles is exactly what I run every 3 days (and have for the past 3 weeks) and my erections are frequent and hard. is this the magic of cardio?

Walking counts as cardio right? I just like going on walks.
Hardly, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't go on walks. Being out in nature and having time to think is great. Still do something high intensity like sprinting, punching bag, jump rope, going uphill on a bike, etc.

only if youre fat enough that it gets your heart rate up to 140+
Which is the better cardio, ski or row machine? Both seem to hit the whole body pretty good.
Row machine
How long until my life is fixed? I've ran 5k on the treadmill three times this past week and it still sucks.
A month or two. Make sure not to overdo too much. Otherwise you *will* get shin splints and you *will not* be able to run for at least 2 months.
Alternate low impact exercises to reduce the stress on your feet and legs on your cardio days
I have the rower as a backup but I think I'm fine, I have good shoes and the treadmill is much lower impact than running outside.
I'm just waiting for these supposed mood and well-being gains.
How do i work my endurance? My half mile and short distance times are pretty good, but i cant finish a full mile faster than 9-10mins a mile
Oops image didnt load
Slow down if you cant make it a full mile faster than 9-10. Try to build up a solid base and then just go faster as you go.
I punched the bag 40 minutes last sunday and I skined my knuckles, cardio is out to get you, don't trust it
Fatty here. Will start with the recommendation of ~4 hours of zone 2 steady cardio per week + a session of high intensity cardio per week.

I'm not wasting time doing cardio when I get more than enough cardio through my weight training
>I don't know the difference between aerobic and anaerobic exercise
But anon, cardio kills your gains. Daoist medicine from years ago states so, I would rather trust Daoist bros over some hoes.
Also just do some Hindu Push Ups and Hindu Squats for cardio.
I unironically do Peloton and gawk at this German goddess the entire time.
>mfw you average less than 200 watts
Pathetic
Forgot grill
Whats a good amount of weekly miles to set as a target as a beginner, 20?
What's a good cardio routine that I can do from my room?
