Cardiologist’s 5-day Diet: A Safe Way to Lose 15 Pounds

Having several pounds in excess weight can increase the risk of numerous dangerous illnesses and diseases like heart disease, diabetes, and cancer, so having a lean figure is something we should all strive for. There are some diets that are pretty helpful, but many of them don’t give the promised results and are also very expensive.

That’s why in this article, we’re going to present you a diet from a famous European cardiologist and that is based on eggs and fruit. It’s very simple to follow because the breakfast is always the same. You just take a piece of fruit (except grapes or bananas) and the other meals have easily available ingredients.

Day #1

Lunch: a cup of yogurt, 1 egg, an orange

Dinner: 2 eggs, 2 pieces of toast, 2 tomatoes, ½ a cucumber or a small lettuce salad

Day #2

Lunch: a cup of yogurt, 1 boiled egg, an orange

Dinner: 1 piece of toast, 125 gr. of cooked red meat, 1 orange, a cup of tea or coffee (without sugar)

Day #3

Lunch: a cup of yogurt, 1 boiled egg, an orange

Dinner: the same as the previous day

Day #4

Lunch: 1 piece of toast, 125 gr. of cottage cheese, an orange

Dinner: the same as days 2 and 3

Day #5

Lunch: a piece of toast, 200 gr. of cooked red meat, 1 tomato. If you want to, you can replace the red meat with fish.

Dinner: ½ a pound of cooked potatoes, carrots and peas

Follow this diet for 5 days. Then make a 2-day rest so that you can repeat it again. You must avoid alcohol and sugar. Prepare the meals without any salt. Consult a doctor before you decide to start with the diet in case you’re suffering from a health problem. The results will be stunning!
