I was lied to. They said if you can do 10 pullups, you can do a muscle up. I can do 16 pullups now.
I can't even get close to a muscle up. It's simply not possible. No matter how hard I try there isn't a single muscle in my body that can even do something that would lead to a muscle up. The movement makes no sense. I can get the bar to my chest and after that there's just nothing. There isn't a muscle in my body that can be used to do anything
    >bro just use muhmentum
Other people are doing it without any momentum
It makes no sense. I can't even think of any exercise I could do to train the muscles needed for a muscle up, they just don't exist. It's like it's supposed to use a non-existent muscle in my wrist.

Forearms. Youre most likely have untrained forearms and are too heavy. But for you to do a no momentum muscle up off the strength of your forearms alone you'd be like 130lbs

Muscle ups is 80% technique and 20% raw explosive strength. See the vid that’s posted prior, there’s about three things you have to incorporate to cheat your way to a muscle up, I admit I am guilty of employing this technique too.

      1. Jump unto the bar and keep the moment going to and fro going continuously, all the while waiting for the moment to release your primal explosive power.
      2. The moment you decide to pull makes an immense impact. You want to make use of the backwards momentum to add to your explosiveness. Here’s how: right after you’ve reached the pique of your forward swing, and I mean RIGHT AFTER, as you go from the dead point - just before swinging backwards - you pull hard.
      3. Kip. You think a muscle up is the same as a pull up? No you dummy, a muscle up is performed with a Kip 99,99% be it with a straight legged Kip, or a tuck-in-your-knees Kip.

If you can do 16 pull ups, and I mean strict pulls ups, there’s no way in hell you don’t possess the raw strength for a muscle up. For a demonstration of the three tips or cheats I’ve described I’d refer back to the video that’s been posted earlier. It’ll become much more comprehensible and intuitive as you see that dude nail every single bullet point I’ve laid out.

Are you picking up what I’m putting down?

It's hard to feel your lats. A lot of people have trouble with it. There probably is a set number of pullups that'll equate to it but it'll depend on your frame and bodyweight and stuff.

They are just like pullups, just done much harder. Cheating them will never make you able to do them for real. You have to do pullups progressively harder.

Technique wise muscle ups differ significantly from pull ups. I’d wager 9 out of 10 individuals learned their first muscle up whilst using momentum. To say a muscle up is equivalent to a pull up “but just harder” is intellectually dishonest, and stands in the way of incremental progress, which obstructs a person’s ability to master strict muscle ups.

          Anonymous

Don't wager. You'll go broke. Kip ups are more different to muscle ups than pullups are. 9 out of 10 people who learn them never learn muscle ups as a consequence. Just practice doing pullups faster and higher. No momentum. Because that generates force that your muscles then don't have to and never will.

You have to train differently to get musckeup, forget about reps, U will have to do sets ranging from 1 to 3, focus on explosiveness only, don't get to fatigue point, just swing a bit and pull as hard and fast U can, improve that over time. Getting fatigue and doing slow reps won't mean shit for muscleup. Also check if Ur hands are not too wide apart, it's easier if they r closer. homosexuals who seethe about momentum can suck it, first U get muscleup however U can, to go through full range of motion, then you can improve it.

It took me about three weeks to be able to do a muscle up without momentum. gays who can’t muscle up and say its just momentum always seethe when you ask them to do one strict. Muscle ups are a great physical feat and anyone who says otherwise is a coping fatty

Massive lats like most calisthenic gays have are unesthetic especially combined with their pencil neck. I have done dirty muscle ups at peak bulk at 115kg so it's not me coping. I started even skipping lats because it ruins esthetics.Yoke dominant physiques mog

Nobody yoked would make a thread like this, you're too low iq to grasp what i'm saying here it seems. OR you're a calisthenic gay coping with bottom heavy physique due to being a yokelet most likely

I didn't make the thread. I just pointed out to you that Jeff Seid has massive lats. If that makes me a calihomosexual then you're moronic.

You fail to undestand that when talking about physique it's about proportions. For you sub 2 year dyel these might be massive but clearly his training is trap biased i.e. the opposite of the lat biased calisthenic pencil necks

                Anonymous

Most caligays don't even have lats because they don't know how to push a set and they suck. They don't even know that chinups hit them harder. They don't even know what contracting them feels like. Their backs are narrow and thin. At best they don't have an hourglass figure. This obviously includes you.

it doesn't show your strength per se. it shows your strength specifically relative to your body weight.

people who do this are fit and strong to an extent, but plenty of fatsos who can't do it will easily outlift the people that can
