>The bars are always to close or to far apart so you frick up your shoulder joints every time
>Claims to be a chest exercise but it only works tri's
>Holding weight with your feet causes you to waste energy holding the dumbbell
>Can only do as a spooky skeleton weight but then there's no point

You're a moron and I'm glad you can't do dips. This exercise is reserved for chads only.

    >makes your chest huge
    >bulletproofs your shoulders
    >easy on the tendons and joints due to accomodating for your build
    >can go stupidly deep because of the previous point for even more pec stretch meaning more pec gains
The ring dip is for the cultured man, who is highly esteemed by all his fellows.

How does one work up to ring dips? I can do sets of 15-20 normal dips but like 1-2 ring dips. Help pls

Deep ring pushups are your best bet, improve a bunch on these and ring dips should become easier. Also practice holding the top position on ring dips.

I only twerk for the girls in between sets.

twerking is cheap. I'd rather you do some cabaret circus boudoir shit, actually. Maybe do some resistance band aerial balancing act and shit where you spread eagle or whatever.
All I'm saying is be prepared to look like a high class parisian prostitute if you pull these sorts of aerial stunts in a commercial gym.

Twerking is not cheap, it is spiritual. Women understand this.

I love weighted dips. I do them mostly for triceps.

Just watched a video of a 62 year old Japanese man who cranks out like 20 dips in a set. Your joints are fricked from your diet.

Never been injured from dips but they always felt wrong. It feels like your scapula is grindong against your shoulder joint while too but pressure is being focused down on your elbow as well. Feels like a stress position.

Nah dips are one of the best compounds for chest tris. Don’t be a moron get a belt chain thing and load plates that way. If you do propper form with some decent weight added you can not get a better chest and tri pump

Most do not do dips the right way. Shit I used to do them wrong as well. When I first started doing dips, I got up to 60 reps BW max and then weighted them down 50-100#s. While I looked impressive, I wasn’t getting shit out of the workout. You are correct in that circumstance I only hit triceps. I then decided to start over with bodyweight. This time legs in front and slow reps. Legs in front really helps to hit the chest by rotating the torso forward. That cut me down to 15 reps max. I feel it in my chest now. I do three sets of dips and then hit the bench. It’s about quality and keeping the chest tight.

If you want bodyweight triceps do planche pushups.
If you want bodyweight cannonball delts do handstand pushups.
If you want your shoulder joints to be sent to the lobby do DIPS
