I did a cut from 183 to 148 last year so I think im qualified to give advice on this. You're at the point where you have absolutely fried your metabolism if you are at OMAD. Honestly try a refeed week to try to prime it back to a state where you can lose it. Don't underestimate cardio as well. Most importantly you need to recognize being that lean is not sustainable for naturals. It is transitory. My last few lbs came off from me doing a week of apple cider vinegar, kale shakes, and rice cakes. I didn't drink water at all for the last 36 hours and also took a bath in epsom salts. It was so fricking stupid. I was delusional just to get some pictures. My best friend and training partner did it with me and he passed out in the locker room and started shaking. Seriously, if you're trying to hit low single digit, recognize it is TEMPORARY and accept it with grace when you gain the weight back and become sustainable again. I am natural lol. All I did was take squat very seriously. I have a scholarship I get drug tested for. Had shitty knees and decided to stop being a pussy and did some "kneesovertoesguy" workouts for a few months last spring. Got my squat from 225 to 315.

35 lbs over 6 months (26 weeks) is roughly 1.3 lbs added a week which is optimal on a bulk. In my last cut I was able to shed 2 lbs a week and it took me from march 15th to June 11th to get to single digit Body Fat. I am exactly where I want to be

I just want abs mang, I have always been kinda fat and my body always bounced back to 175 no matter how much I trained. My plan was to get as low bf% as possible and then lean bulk to infinite and beyond. I agree with the messing up of the metabolism (lost all of this in a month): I have trouble sleeping, i get intense cravings and im actually scared of snap city if I go heavy because I know that I don't have the same energy as before...
I totally get it, dude. It feels powerful to be aesthetic. It has value. But just understand it shouldn't be the end all be all. In the future I recommend you focus on developing your legs when you bulk up again. They seem undertrained compared to the rest of your physique. Upper body looks great though. If you add lean mass to your legs then your BMR will increase in the future and you may find it easier to execute a cut. Also train abs. Don't fall for the meme that they'll develop just from doing compounds. They will get stronger but they wont become the defined, cut abs you're looking for.

I don't know, just how my core is structured I guess. I have wide hips too which all of it obviously is connected to.
Lightning definitively helps me in that photo, it's a 4 pack at best. I store fat mostly in the lower abdomen and back, not at the levels of a pot belly tho. Plenty of people that can get far fatter than I am and still have some abs showing.
Forgot to add, I might be leaning back slightly in that picture. Also long torso and short legs type of build, my proportions are is as if I am missing a few inches of height from my lower body.

i follow strong lifts 5x5 and am too lazy to switch the weights around (i have a shitty bench set at home) so i just use my bench press limit for all of them which is currently 100 lbs.

I did a cut from 183 to 148 last year so I think im qualified to give advice on this. You're at the point where you have absolutely fried your metabolism if you are at OMAD. Honestly try a refeed week to try to prime it back to a state where you can lose it. Don't underestimate cardio as well. Most importantly you need to recognize being that lean is not sustainable for naturals. It is transitory. My last few lbs came off from me doing a week of apple cider vinegar, kale shakes, and rice cakes. I didn't drink water at all for the last 36 hours and also took a bath in epsom salts. It was so fricking stupid. I was delusional just to get some pictures. My best friend and training partner did it with me and he passed out in the locker room and started shaking. Seriously, if you're trying to hit low single digit, recognize it is TEMPORARY and accept it with grace when you gain the weight back and become sustainable again. Also why are you even cutting that hard? Girls? For yourself? Competition? Why? Pic is from my recent cut.
Stop fricking bulking and start lifting. You barely have a base to work with. You're just going to get fat. Bulking and cutting cycle are for intermediate and advanced lifters. Make sure you're getting protein but there is 0 reason your should be intentionally putting on weight.

My strength increases have been awesome and im hoping to continue my bulk up to 190 into early march before I begin my cut. Its been hard balancing with professional school and I miss my shreds but its been worth it for the mass I've added, especially to my legs

I don't drink heavily or often and use no NSAIDS or OTC painkillers. They have me scheduled for a liver ultrasound later this month. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Would be nice to have some peace of mind. Thanks guys.

35 lbs over 6 months (26 weeks) is roughly 1.3 lbs added a week which is optimal on a bulk. In my last cut I was able to shed 2 lbs a week and it took me from march 15th to June 11th to get to single digit Body Fat. I am exactly where I want to be

Elevated liver enzymes are common from weightlifting. Also had an ultrasound done on my liver for the same reason and it came back normal.

I just want abs mang, I have always been kinda fat and my body always bounced back to 175 no matter how much I trained. My plan was to get as low bf% as possible and then lean bulk to infinite and beyond. I agree with the messing up of the metabolism (lost all of this in a month): I have trouble sleeping, i get intense cravings and im actually scared of snap city if I go heavy because I know that I don't have the same energy as before...
I totally get it, dude. It feels powerful to be aesthetic. It has value. But just understand it shouldn't be the end all be all. In the future I recommend you focus on developing your legs when you bulk up again. They seem undertrained compared to the rest of your physique. Upper body looks great though. If you add lean mass to your legs then your BMR will increase in the future and you may find it easier to execute a cut. Also train abs. Don't fall for the meme that they'll develop just from doing compounds. They will get stronger but they wont become the defined, cut abs you're looking for.

Lightning definitively helps me in that photo, it's a 4 pack at best. I store fat mostly in the lower abdomen and back, not at the levels of a pot belly tho. Plenty of people that can get far fatter than I am and still have some abs showing.
