It's not a bad deal, unfortunately, it is way more expensive than chicken where I live, so enjoy it. Probably still a bit too high in fat but 25% seems alright. You could get a meat grinder and buy cheap and lean beef cuts and just make your own mince btw.

-season the ground beef with salt, ground black pepper, thyme and rosemary. Feel free to add any other spice of your liking, like cayenne if you like spicy food.
-optional: a small dash of worcerstershire sauce.
-chop an onion and fry in a pan with a tablespoon or two of olive oil. Once it starts to get translucent, crush a clove or two of garlic and add it to the pan. Stir.
-optional: add a teaspoon of somked paprika
-put the meat in the pan and stir everything together until the meat loses the pink color
-add a glass of white wine and let it reduce for a minute or two
-add a can of crushed tomatoes and about half the can of water, you can add oregano and basil here. Mix it all together an let it shimmer half-coverd for 20-30 minutes or until most of the liquid has evaporated and the sauce looks thick and a couple of shades darker.
-season to taste with more salt and black pepper and let it sit covered for at least five minutes

I use this as sauce for spaghetti, homemade pizza topping or as filling for pies/empanadas. Or you can eat it directly with a fork. Add melted cheese to it. A couple of fried eggs... whatever. You can also add bell pepper, carrots, zucchini, eggplant, etc.

Make a patty and don't cook it brown in the middle. Medium rare or medium like a good steak. Medium is probably better so all the fat is nicely rendered.

fat isn't bad but if you're trying to get loads of protein in while keeping the calories as low as possible there are better options.
It's fine for bulking but if you're cutting/maintaining you might have some issues

Good to bulk on, but it's not that healthy to eat regularly and can tip you over calorically if you're on a cut. i smash half kilo of it on rest days where it's my main meal of the deal with either pasta or rice.

    >Beef Mince
    >What's the catch?
As someone who worked as a butcher, mince is literally the rests of garbage we couldn't use filled with pink powder and water that goes through a mincer to make it look halfway appealing. There's cartillage, bits of bone, stuff that's fallen to the ground, old stinking meat no one would eat. That's the catch.

If you want to eat mince, the best way to go about it is to ask your butcher for a nice cut of beef clod or pork loin and then mince it once or twice.
