Cigars

How unhealthy is an occasional cigar? I know an avid marathon runner who smokes like once a week. Is it true you will get cancer if you smoke it? I noticed its much easier on my throat and lungs than cigs. Redpill me chads

It’s obviously better than most things considering you don’t inhale. I’ve still gotten nicotine buzz off of some stronger cigars regardless

How did you get a buzz without inhaling anything? The psychoactive compounds wont get in your brain without inhalation bro

      It's unhealthy

I'm aware - but severity is my concern. Is it worse than e-cig microplastic goyslop vapes?

not him but the nose passages and the whole mouth really have very thin blood vessels and is closer to the brain than anything else

If you retrohale (exhale through your nose) you can accidentally get some in your lungs I find. For anyone wondering that’s how you’re supposed to smoke cigars to get the full flavor

But they do homie. Ever heard of nicotine pouches? You literally just put it under your lip and the nicotine gets into your brain. You can absorb all kinds of compounds and nutrients just though your mouth. Of course you absorb very little compared to other methods of absorption but some things are strong enough to have an effect just by mouth absorption.

I enjoy cigars, but all smoking is unhealthy.
You don't get lung cancer, but you get mouth and throat cancer.
I stick to one per year for an occasion.

Not him but you're the only one who's venting here. Why do addicts get so upset when you put down their drug of choice? Oh right, because they're an addict LOL. Keep sucking on the brown phallus you call a cigar. You are sucking satan's wiener.

    Unhealthy? Of course.
    Less than smoking? Yes.
    Cancer? Unless daily, not likely.

At least if dont inhale (if you regularly do, it's worse than smoking), it shouldnt hurt lungs. Nicotine does affect negatively ox intake by itself though.

Personally I keep cig smoking low freq, 1-2/month max to minimize risks. For the right occasion.

    Make up your own mind.

You're better off sucking ash from a running car exhaust. Its cheaper too.

Anecdotal evidence. You'll die if you smoke even once, it's been scientifically proven. Any article on Pubmed will tell you the same if you did your own research.

I smoke cigars every few weeks, more in the summer usually when cutting grass. It's nice and not a big deal.

Pipes and cigars aren't that bad. Biggest risk is mouth cancer which is much more treatable than lung cancer. I smoke at most one a week. As everyone else said, don't inhale and you'll be fine. Also unlike cigars, the nicotine isn't chemically altered to be more addictive so it's much easier to not get addicted or feel withdrawal.
