So I got a protein shake bottle from a friend and as I open it I start to feel the stink of a dead grandma's rotten pussy, I've been cleaning it constantly but the smell doesn't go away completely, does anyone know of a way to take that fricking stink off?

how about buying a new one
I'll probably do that
fill it up with water
throw like half a lemon in, I just use half an already squeezed lemon, the part that you’d throw in the garbage
leave it like that for a day or so, occasionally shake
works for me, I do it once in a while
buy a new one. its not like they are expensive.
oh shit I have the same exact bottle haha it's like we're soulmates or something
It's the first shaker I saw on google sorry anon keep searching
put a dishwasher tablet in, fill with water and leave for a few days. if that doesn't work, throw it out. that trick works great on getting rid of coffee stains and taste.
can also put it in the freezer to get rid of the smell, though the smell seems to return after a while
Try hot water and baking soda
my shaker started smelling bad after the first time i used it, i tried every single method but it doesn't go
Submerge it in distilled white vinegar and warm water for a day. No more stink
Fill it with hot water, bit of soap and some bleach and then close it shake it and leave it to stand all day
Repeat if you must
I always fill it with dishwasher soap and water overnight after using it. It might leave microplastics inside or some shit but hey that shit is everywhere already and at least it won't stink like shit
pour boiling water and dishwasher soap in it, close it, shake it, and let it sit for a while
I literally just let it sit with a tiny bit of bleach and soap and forgot about it until I need protein
Baking soda and some water. Shake it and let it sit, then remove and rinse. Small particles are still present on the bottle, thus resulting in the smell. I do the same with glass containers of kimchi, as the smell imprints onto the containers.
Tell your girlfriend to wash it when she does the rest if the dishes
I did baking soda scrub and soak overnight. Rinsed then did diluted vinegar scrub and soak overnight. Was fine after that.
There was some other plastic stuff I had neglected and used citric acid on instead. Not sure it was any better than the vinegar tbdesu. Just smells a lot better when you have multiple vessels sitting overnight on the counter compared to vinegar.
I was researching how to sterilze bottles for long term water storage (killing all the microorganisms multiplying themselves over time) and the answer is bleach. Bleach kills them all.
Put vinegar in it and shake it up then leave it for a bit
how about a blender
