Simply not true. You can definitely look far worse with some haircuts and styles than others even if you are good looking. Balding especially will take most guys down in looks. Attractive guys still have to put effort in. I don’t know what the obsession is here with the idea that everything is set in stone good or bad with the way you are. not that guy but according to 23andme I'm 99% northern european, and my hair is light brown that turns blonde with sun exposure and my facial hair is dark on the sides but lighter in the mustache and goatee area. Look pretty similar to this guy except not as muscular.

I'm nordic. But yeah, my beard much darker than the hair on my head. Looks good imo, gives a bit of contrast. Though it isn't like super light blond, guess it's what the girls call "dirty blond". But it turns nicely golden when I'm out in the sun a lot. Was told I had the hair of a movie star once when I'd been on a two week sailing trip.
i got the blonde hair and dark facial hair thing going i really like it man. sun highlights bring out the natural blonde and the color difference looks really cool especially if done right

If you can grow a beard, keep it but if not and its patchy use an electric trimmer so you retain a little bit of ruggedness since it's not smooth like a baby but it doesn't look like a puberty beard either by letting it get too long.
Plus, you won't have some reddit wet shaving routine every morning.
Depends on how good your facial hair looks. I generally only shave once a week (I just hate shaving), but I don't let it grow out too long cause I don't think it looks that good. My beard doesn't go up to my cheekbones. From a distance I just look like I've got the heisenberg goatee. I definitely look much better clean shaven, maybe just a bit of stubble.

looks good. the key to a great mustache is the gap between the upper lip and nose. the more, the better for that big mustache look. you have plenty of space. it’ll look full in around 6 to 8 weeks. get you some beard balm or oil and brush it, preferably with a boar bristle hair brush

I have gone from shaving every day for work, to full hobo beard and finally settled on trimmed beard that just follow jawline and chin. Would never go back to clean shaven due to skin irritation.

Light to medium stubble always looks best. I personally do that and let the chin and moustache grow a bit more than the rest.
