"CNS fatigue"

What exactly is this? Apparently it's supposed to be a different thing entirely from physical exhaustion? I lift at my 1RM every workout, 6 days a week, and I've never experienced the symptoms described as "CNS fatigue" unless I ate terribly or got bad sleep.
Is this just some sort of cope invented by Redditors to explain why they always feel tired instead of acknowledging the fact they eat/rest like shit and fap 5 times a day?

There´s little more sad than a pretty girl getting fat. I still blame the israelites.

She deserves some of the blame, don't absolve her from personal responsibility because she owns a pussy

Of course. But it´s hard not to imagine a israelite free world with fewer fat people.

You only hit cns fatigue when you're a new lifter or doing high volume work with multiple lifts for the same muscle group
    >reddit will never do a program that requires that kind of discipline though

CNS fatigue isn't strength related and in all studies it has never been demonstrated in weightlifting of any kind. It's just gym broscience. CNS fatigue is an endurance sport phenomenon; frankly metabolic and muscular fatigue occurs in strength training, not CNS fatigue.

Something similar that has occured to me (but that isn't CNS fatigue) is a general feeling of workout anxiety, depression and low motivation caused by doing HIT with too high frequency. It's just the body asking for more rest.

Yup I got this from too much HIIT sprinting, never from lifting shit. Don't go insane on one exercise.

After I pulled 200kg for the first time, I had CNS fatigue for like 3 weeks and couldn't perform at my regular pace on my program and had to deload and start again. My sleep and rest and food were on point. I just felt fried and tired until it came right.

OP's pic is basically what's happening to TheNicoleT, went from just having huge breasts to gradually becoming genuinely fat and her audience basically encourages it.

More common in endurance athletes, most people on reddit are indeed coping with poor lifestyle which may indeed have caused them to have it.

I had a slide about this in my physio lecture last year but I forgot what it said. I'll pull it up and post what it said.

not sure what the kids ITT are talking about but it's simply the reduction in your ability to contract/flex your muscle to their maximum potential. I can't OHP/row(215+/315+) heavy more than once a week because the next session I won't have the same strength, even if i'm completely fresh.

When I really wanted a 225 OHP (was at 205) I added 5 lb of weight every other day and tried to force through it

    >monday did 210
    >wednesday did 215
    >friday failed 210
    >sunday barely did 205, 185 felt heavy that session

took a week off and came back and got 225. But i guess according to the clowns ITT you can push a 1RM max every single session without detriment

it actually takes a significant amount of work to get cns fatigue
for the average gymgoer/exerciser it is near impossible to achieve actual cns fatigue for their workload

honestly i think the reason why they think they are "tired" is because they pound preworkout and caffeine everytime they do something physical like working out and conditioned themselves to be in this elevated state of energy in order to workout so when they return to their baseline and crash in their regular lives they feel tired
i pretty much workout everyday have never taken any pre and i only drink 1 or 2 cups of coffee in the morning and my energy levels are relatively high and stable throughout the day and the only times i really feel tired is if i had a hard running session

how much do you bench? Yeah, if you only lift baby weight I think that may be true, but please tell me you don't think you can actually pull/squat 600+lb 4x a week...
