Not sure about the other stuff but it is definitely better for your skin. Humans were not meant to have the skins protective barrier stripped away with hot water every day.

Just don't use extremely hot water because it's bad for your skin,if you use a reasonable temperature its fine.
Cold showers are kino comfy after working out for 2 hours in the garage on a summer day. Second only to probably working out in the dead of winter where you can see your breath.
Ice baths are legit useful in many ways. Cold showers don’t have as strong physiological benefits, but maybe still ok for waking you up and building the whole overcoming difficulty thing.
Relaxing is also important for recovery so hot showers might have similar amount of benefit in different ways.
Also this, a “cold” shower on a hot day probably doesn’t matter much though.

It get's my skin and muscles tight, so I look better flexing in the morning.
I mean yea, you use less water because you have to wash faster
