    buy gelatin for 1/4 the price, it's the same fucking thing

    You have proteolytic enzymes in your stomach that cut right through the structure of the gelatin, there is absolutely zero need to consume more refined versions of collagen

    Go into pubmed and see what the studies show. Most (pretty much all of them) of these supplements do nothing for you. I will not search it for you.

      There's no evidence that collagen is any more beneficial than an isocaloric equivalent dose of whey protein. The most cited studies showing "efficacy" of collagen / gelatin compare it to fucking dextrose solutions.

      1 tbs of gelatin is 9 grams of protein

      collagen is gelatin, the two are interchangeable

      boiling bones is gross and tastes like shit, straight gelatin is tasteless.

      4lbs of gelatin or 181 servings of 9g of protein is $40, compare that to collagen peptides.
