How much should you do?
What types?
What's your 5k time?
I've been lifting for a long while but ive only started cardio recently to help with the cut. I smoke too and will until death. My 5k time struggles to get below 45 mins

Do something low impact on your choice. Maybe don't run, but bike and swim. That doesn't make you a fatass. Rowing is based too.
I haven't done a 5k in a while, but I'm guessing it'd be around 20 minutes since my 1.5-mile time is around 9:18-30
20 min is pretty fricking good.
Yea ive just been doing it every day but i was surprised about how shit my time was even tho I've lifted for so long
i like cardio, but in a way it would be functional to me. i like carry heavy weights on walks or light jogs.
no mas tienes que correr güey y ya pues jalese las tenis y no me sea pinche pendejo ayayay
"you just have to run, man, and now, pull on your tennis shoes and don't be a fricking butthole, ayayay"
Not only did you speak in a non native language you didn't say anything useful. Bravo Santiago
I am answering op, which is a spic
I am op and im English/Irish
Just keep running, man. I just did 5 miles and I still have lifting ahead of me. Do what you can handle, and take it a day at time.
How do carry heavy weights on jogs and walks? Do you just have a heavy bag on your back?
To
I've started running (on a treadmill) 2-3 times a week for 25 minutes, then I hit the sauna afterwards. I've never pushed it but at my current speed a 5k takes 24 minutes.
I woke up with a boner today so maybe this stuff is working.
I've been doing the treadmill as well. Ove heard it's bad for you? Or easier than running on the pavement. Ive read that making the inclined 1/3 or above overcomes that so it emds up being more difficult which is what ive been doing. I wake up with a bonar everyday regardless unfortunately, so idk about that
>How much should you do?
this was a question I've spend a while to figure. my conclussion is that if you are feeling some sort of discomfort, like some sort of very minor doms later around somewhere your chest, you're in it too much.
thing is the cap for that too much can be increased and it's always way much more than you guess it to be. It took me 20 hours of cardio in a week to find my cap.
oh and, on the lower end I think 6 hours cardio / week would be the standart for me.
20 hours of cardio a week is fricking mental. I don't even have that much spare time. I do maybe 2 hours a day but that's only cayse im more free these days after uni And with no job
Wtf why 20, wyy do that much? Do you even lift everyday on top of that? What's your physique/weight/bfp?
my 5K PR is 14:30
I don't really race anymore but I try and do about 30 min of cardio a day, and I typically stick to that
