>chicken cooked with maltodextrin, honey, and sugar
You can’t even taste it. Why the frick do they have to add it? I thought these would have a nice fit in my diet but they have to destroy the chicken for no fricking reason.
You can’t even taste it over the paprika that is used! It is just a straight gains goblin.
Some chicken and a tortilla shouldn't really be so fricking difficult.
Every food has a sweetness limit where you can keep adding sugar before it starts tasting sweet. The goal is to add as much sugar as possible without it being sweet because then it'll be more palatable and addictive to eat. Every culinary lab on earth tries to push that boundary as far as they can, because when they have a breakthrough, they get tons of funding dumped on them. The consequence is that food becomes far easier to overeat (and are also unhealthier), which benefits companies like Costco who want to sell as much product as possible. Unironically a conspiracy that all started with the sugar industry in the 40s
Ironically enough you could probably get all the ingredients needed for those tacos, remove the bullshit and you’ll probably have x4 the yield while still being under 16 bucks
The only issue is bulk cooking and shredding the chicken for the week which isn't really a big deal, it is just annoying that I can't even get shredded chicken without bullshit thrown in.
Have you looked at canned chicken? Not quite shredded, but similar consistency
Open, drain, toss in pan, season and cook for ~5 min and it's ready to go while the pan is heating up you prep everything else so total cook time is 5 to 10 minutes
I will look into that or see if there is just "pulled/shredded" chicken for sale to do basically the same thing. Season with salt and paprika in the pan and just drop it into some microwaved tortillas.
Thanks for the advice.

In Canada this would be at least $40 and half the size. The grocery store sells a 12 pack of chicken tenders for $20 leaf bucks. Bulking is torture up here
Another canuck here, I came here to post this. Actually had to double-check that I didn't already reply to this thread and forget, lol.
That's what bigots get for voting for "Minstrel Show Trudeau".
If you’re already going to Costco they sell packs of rotisserie chicken meat chunks (not shredded but you might be able to fork it), they should be near where those tacos are. Also if your store has uncooked tortillas in the stand up fridge section those things are great fresh.

>I'm literally too moronic to buy street taco ingredients seperately. Thank god Corporation packaged them altogether for me!
Honestly what the frick, America? You're already in the fricking grocery store. Walk around and buy shit so you're not buying this ass-tier taco assembly.
Also a mexican will for sure stab you if they see you putting that "cheese" on a taco.
Why ever buy prepared food in the first place you stupid motherfricker? Because your time may be worth more than the price it takes to prepare food yourself. Especially if you have an actual fricking job I know this doesn't apply to fat lazy hispanics on IST
Make your own. That's like 5? Dollars in chicken and maybe a couple extra dollars in other shit. You can even lose the tortilla for rice and make taco salad. I guarantee it'll taste better too. Hell use a rotisserie chicken for it then make stock with the carcass. Stop buying premade shit and complaining about it being premade, idiot
if you go to any restaurant they will put way more shit in your tacos than that bub
I fricking hated that Costco taco plate. First and last time I bought them. Much rather have a nice big $1.29 pizza
You're obese

It's global.
It's for obese hamplanets that probably smoke and can't tell the difference between chocolate and shit turds.

i mean its really not that hard to just make your own if thats what you want, probably would taste way better anyway
I can't even imagine buying this plastic garbage. And for almost $20. You guys need some goddamn fricking standards, holy fricking shit.
