Not a meme and lots of benefits for being so cheap.
At the very most, it will accelerate hair loss in people who would eventually go bald regardless.

Pretty much this. But I wouldn’t recommend taking caffeine straight before a bodybuilding workout, as it will restrict blood flow to the muscles. My advice is to get your calories in, have a diet that is rich in creatine (beef is your friend), stay hydrated.
The only time I ever felt a difference because of creatine was during the Nativity and Lenten fasts (orthodox, so basically vegan). The reason for this I think is your body can only absorb so much creatine at a time, and I usually eat a lot of beef.

Didn’t see any signs of hair loss and it runs in my family.

You'll lose your hair and will think you're making "gains" thanks to water bloat.

Stress and calcification are worse for hair loss.

Pair it with actually eating a lot of carbs i do a lot of lifting and need to eat an absolute shitkoad to gain weight. Compared to what i was eating on 3-4 days a week for an hour i lose weight on old bulking calories while drinking a lot.

I've read it increases DHT a little bit, so people who are losing their hair anyway might lose it a little bit faster.

Overall test increases with heavy exercise and that study had like maybe 500 dollars to work with. Or at least in the recovery phase.

Id assume they read you can increase volume and did like 2 more sets of each heavy lift. When i would hit the gym on shit sleep because i had a job i would notice my hair thins. Thats why if ive not lifted for like a week ill still go but ill just halve volume.

My dad has a full head of hair, my grandads from both side too.

I’ve started taking a preworkout that includes creatine for about a year now and i’ve noticed a frick ton of hair in my tub after i wash them. Still not a norwood scale noticeable change but it’s like a dozen each time.

It was like 3 or 4 a year ago.
    Should i worry ?

How do you know it was the creatine specifically that was the cause?

I occasionally thin out then regrow hair if i go a while with bad sleep, too much stress, etc. Maybe actually lifting was a dramatic shock to his system.

Aint no frickin way it does, the control group for that "study" probably did walks for exercise and increasing cortisol so abruptly is probably what did it.

Look at how healthy extreme long distance runners look.

I took creatine once and now I live on the streets...

No. Creatine is just a compound used in your muscle to produce ATP. It doesn't cause balding.

Yeah well if you take someone who doesnt bald then have them run 10 miles as fast as they can every day theyre gonna thin out.

this is already solved. gorillas and chimps have enzymes in their stomach that turns useless plant matter into proteins

People saying it accelerated their hair loss would've gone bald within 1-2 years regardless

no, it's slightly effective, i.e. you get maybe one extra rep, but it definitely works

lmao no, there's nothing to suggest it, people who spread this bullshit, based on the currently available data, are braindead

    >increases your DHT by a lot
    >makes you thirsty all the time
    >bloat
    >probs a bit unhealthy

there are non responders and extreme responders.
for me it works wonders. I also lost some hair during that time but I also ate like shit and took some israelite medicines so who knows what really made me lose so much hair. maybe the combination of all those things. I dont have enough hair left ot experiment further but to me creatine works like roids. I cant even imagine what real roids would do to me.

If you have dht resistant hair you have no reason not to try it.
If you have then I dont know, troony drugs or essential oils might keep your hair in place.
I had plenty of friends going bald prematurely and they were all slurping creatine like crazy.

      >increases your DHT by a lot
      >made me lose so much hair
there's absolutely nothing that could suggest it, you're just going bald, you fricking moron. a single poorly designed study with no proper control group shows increase of serum DHT, which is a totally irrelevant metric, as DHT is inactive systemically and only active in tissues it's produced, with serum DHT not even correlated with the local DHT activity

        frick off pajeet Black person.
        DHT = HAIR LOSS
I bet you can explain then how 21 year olds have the hairline of a 35year old after 4 years of creatine chugging

If you have dht resistant hair, good for you jeet. If you dont, you will need preventative measures.
Wierd how every 2nd roid freak is a bald ass homosexual too. 'they would have went bald anyway'. yeah, but timeframe matters. idiot

          >DHT = HAIR LOSS
no, shit, you moronic mongoloid, but DHT is inactive in the blood, it's active in only specific tissues where it's produced, serum DHT levels have nothing to do with the actual DHT activity, there are other markers to measure it and you'd need to prove any relation whatsoever between creatine and DHT, first.
          >I bet you can explain then how 21 year olds have the hairline of a 35year old after 4 years of creatine chugging
observations made by a 60IQ shitskin are irrelevant, especially considering that it's one of the most widely used supplements and no one brings up hairloss, other than some balding street shitters on image boards.
          >Wierd how every 2nd roid freak is a bald ass homosexual too. 'they would have went bald anyway'. yeah, but timeframe matters. idiot

Ive seen 21-23 year old gymrats being nw3 nw4
You dont see normies and autists go bald that soon except alopecia cursed people.

                end of story.

You have immaculate hair? You can abuse it. You dont? There is a good chance you will acclerate your hairloss by a good 15-20 years.

What if I had alopecia, managed to get my hair back and started taking creatine? I already know what being bald bald is like so I'm not scared of no white powder.

your personal anecdotes won't magically make creatine influence DHT in any way and it takes literally clinical moronation to link balding among young people or gymgoers to creatine in particular

wierd how that works ehh? not like you can see bunch of premature baldies in the gymrat community.

even if creatine somehow cause hair loss, you can just frickin stop taking creatine to gain that hair back.
if you argue that this is not how it works, then it implies creatine is changing your genes which is even dumber than the original conspiracy theory.
So just by this line of thought alone, no creatine will not effect your hair growth
