the baldness effefct is new to me.
fattens your face? i think you are taking something hormonal disguised as creatin.

because the knew it was used to provide more fostate to generate atp at muscle.

Maybe don't buy your shit from a shady company who also uses those vats to make sub par testosterone. Buy from places like Bulk Supplements or Beyond Raw Chemistry Labs

"In summary, the current body of evidence does not indicate that creatine supplementation increases total testosterone, free testosterone, DHT or causes hair loss/baldness."
      https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7871530/

Keep your broscience to yourself you dumb ass gays

Increases DHT which speed up or cause balding if you're predisposed to it.
Pumps you full of glycogen and water, so it just bloats you, artificially increases your lean mass (water is lean mass). Pretty much useless.
Also like with most supplements creatine research is funded by creatine corps trying to shill their garbage product.

If you don't care about your hair being raped into oblivion and just want to get bigger and stronger, pop some tbol or dbol instead.

About a year ago my hair started thinning when I started taking creatine again. It was thinning rapidly.
Stopped taking it, used minox and dermarolling, hair back to normal, still the same to this day.

          >bloats you, fattens your face, kills muscle definition
Yes, that is called "being hydrated". Look into "hydration". Try to study what that word means, figure out how you can become hydrated, and then afterwards figure out how to go through this process by yourself next time you get an idea for a thread here, OP.

except that paper just says ignore the only study on the topic and doesn't offer any counterpoint study except to say just go ahead and ignore the only study

if the claim is that there isn't enough evidence to strongly conclude creatine causes dht increases then that is true. but there is absolutely no study that ever looked into it except one which found it does indeed dramatically increase dht.

Causes DHT to increase, and DHT is responsible for hair loss in unlucky dudes.

          >After 7 days of creatine loading, or a further 14 days of creatine maintenance dose, serum T levels did not change. However, levels of DHT increased by 56% after 7 days of creatine loading and remained 40% above baseline after 14 days maintenance (P < 0.001). The ratio of DHT:T also increased by 36% after 7 days creatine supplementation and remained elevated by 22% after the maintenance dose (P < 0.01)

You need a loading phase to get the creatine stores full first. Anything extra is just pissed out.

Big Creatine won't fund the study cause they know it'll prove the link. Big Creatine would double their customers if they could prove no balding link.

                >You need a loading phase
Literally a waste of money unless you're only planning on taking creatine for like a month or two at most. You'll get the same results just starting at staying at 5g/day, just takes a little longer to settle in. I don't know why people bother still pushing loading phases

                Anonymous

What? Isn't that literally how it works?
I dont take creatine but last I read, you needed to take 5g a day for 4 weeks before it has any noticeable effect on muscular endurance during lifts.

                Anonymous

Most loading phases are 5g, 4x per day for a week, for a total of 20g a day for seven days. Then 5g a day to maintain after that. Starting with 5g a day for four weeks isn't a loading phase, it's just starting with a maintenance dose. Still effective, but like I said, takes longer to see results

the not replicated fags are the worst. make it seem like other studies happened and they didn't replicate the results. when it really never got studied again..... except that one time they did study it again and the supplement company pulled their funding half way through. fucking lol.
