Lol bread is what built the western world unironically that is why Europe has a bread culture, it fed the masses since time immemorial. America’s meat culture is newer and is a sign of decadence and over indulgence. Nothing wrong with eating meat but it doesn’t have to be in glutinous quantities and for every meal like what is done in the fattest states where “work” is sitting in a chair from 8-7 cause goldbergstein needed you to stay late and you’re his best goy.

Yes, but I think "they" are trying to equate meat to processed sugars and junk food, saying things like eating too much meat is an "indulgence" like what this fag said [...]. So our brains crave it not because it has everything we need to be strong and live healthy, but because it's some kind of junk food.

I don't know, I would say it doesn't make any sense, but the average person is definitely convinced that too much meat will clog your arteries or whatever nonsense.

Yeast grows from flour and you don't need to put sugar in bread, even if you do it is in such small amounts that it does not taste noticably sweet afterwards. Only in America is bread sweet.

        [...]
If you don't see the problem with eating even non-high fructose corn slop leftovers with your bread because doctors say it isn't an issue then go ahead and enjoy it. Not that there aren't processed breads eg. wonderbread that have high fructose corn syrup

1.Glyphosates. All big brands have this carcinogenic nasty shit, there are only a few like Jovial Foods and One Degree that don't. Any type of wheat product have a fuckton glyphostes, the huge companies keep getting sued for this but they simply have too much money to succumb to the pressure. Yes, even "organic" labelled breads were tested for glyphosate and are confirmed bad too. Only certain flours like Einkorn are glyphosate free.
        2. Sugar
        3. Oxalates (inhibits nutrient absorption so your healthy meals get less healthier, also leads to kidney stones)
        4. flaxseeds, etc. (a lot of ingredients listed there are estrogenic as fuck)
        5. Corn is GMO, more cancerous garbage. These ingredients are trash.

BTFO. Bread is and always has been slave food. That's why agrarian societies have always been smaller and weaker than hunter-gather societies.
            >but muh cities
Yes, you can build cities when you have farms because you can stay in 1 place and you have a constant source of guaranteed food. OBVIOUSLY meat and animal foods make you stronger than bread and peas, but OBVIOUSLY you can't build cities with a hunter-gatherer society.

Pretending that bread is healthy or makes you strong is super cringe.

              Anonymous

To be clear, I mean the people in the societies were smaller and weaker. Not the size of the population in numbers. The people were always a few inches shorter with multiple deficiencies (as seen in bone scarring, shortened femur lengths, things like that).

Obviously societies with farms and cities are bigger than tribes lol. Sorry for bad English.

              Anonymous

That is factually wrong, agrarian societies had the large and strong individuals since steady and constant nutrition allows for more growth. This is why the Vikings saw such large growth during the Viking era since the warmer temperatures allowed for good harvests which lead to big stronger men willing and able to raid lands far away. Normans who were some of the larger recorded individuals of history made up part of this Viking age. Even if we look at modern hunter gather tribes they consist of manlets with their tallest individuals being in the around 5.5’. You have to remember we are a far shot off from our prehistoric ancestor cavemen and our bodies and digestion have adapted as such. As well consistant nutrition correlates with height that is why we are seeing such tall individuals today.

What is the point of your picture? It says a group of people are short because they have short genes and it has nothing to do with hunter-gatherer nutrition. Are you not going to admit you were wrong about hunter-gatherers being small after I linked a video proving you wrong? That's pretty weak.

Also lol @ equating pre-agrarian humans to "cavemen." You clearly have no idea what you're talking about and, in a desperate attempt to not admit you were wrong about a minor fact on an anonymous image board, you're speaking randomly.

What are you going on about. The tribe you linked is a non hunter gather tribe how does that prove a thing, they domesticated cows and live off a diet based off the cows. That is far from hunter gather as the have steady nutrition, just like agrarian cultures who domesticated animals and farmed. As I said steady nutrition causes increased height. Also sorry I didn’t use preneolithic human instead of caveman, really such a big difference. As you said I’m talking to other retards on a Korean ship building forum I’m not gonna split hairs over my terminology.

                >steady nutrition increases height
I agree. If this is your main argument then we are arguing over nothing. However, I think your main argument is actually "bread/corn are nutritious foods that allows human to become tall and healthy," which is silly and flat out wrong, as I've already shown.

Grains can allow people to become healthy strong and tall as shown by the tallest strongest and healthiest people on this planet all having grain based diets. And if we want to go off anecdotal evidence, like your video, I have only seen a handful of ketolards and carnifags here ever post any kind of respectable physique: most are dyels or fatties. After scrubbing through the video this is the only part I can see him standing clearly next to another one, if he is 6’ then that one is about the height of the woman he is with maybe a bit taller. And she is probably 5’6” if I had guess based off where she stands on him. But that speculation. Even still they are far from being big or strong individuals and even the reporter mogs all of them, and he grew up with a grain based diet guaranteed. My point is there is nothing wrong with grains, and they can be a part of a good balanced diet and hunter gatherers are far from the best examples of human performance or capability.

What the fuck are you going on about m8, most of the world has a grain based diet where grains are the staple food item in all of our meals: Europe has bread, Asia rice, and America’s corn. The most success civilizations are all grain based since it provides a steady shelf stable source of nutrition. The strongest tallest people all eat grains. I don’t what else there is to say. You are trying to save face by blaming the term grain based diet, but that is the backbone the entire world has been built off. There is nothing wrong with grains as I have said before they can be part of a healthy diet. I have never said you should only eat grains or they are all you need. Meat is great and is loaded with good shit: I love meat. I also love veggies and fruits too, but there is nothing wrong with grains, and the people who have used them historically have done the best.

Whole grains have horrible nutrient densities, and that's not even talking about lectins, phytic acid, tannins, and other anti-nutrients that chelate the (small amount of) nutrients actually present in grains when they reach our digestive system. Here is one single study (there are countless but I'm lazy) so that you don't bother to try to argue this well-established fact:

                https://academic.oup.com/ajcn/article/81/2/341/4607411?login=false
                >Because whole grains and milk maintain the next to the lowest nutrient density rankings, displacement of fruit, vegetables, lean meats, and seafood by these 2 staple food groups lowers the overall micronutrient density in the diet

                >x people eat grains
                >therefore they have a grain-based diet
How you are still saying this is incredible. I'm watching a person be so closed-minded and arrogant that they are making themselves worse at English over time. It's fascinating.

Not to mention saying "corn is making American's strong and tall and healthy" is absolutely delusional. Your opinions fascinate me, I hope you continue.

God damn you are a fanatic. But I recognize you now though. You’re dyel that was arguing with all those biochem people in that thread the other day. It’s not my fault that is the definition of grain based diet. You also can’t change the fact the top performers all have grains as a staple in all their meals. You can try and split hairs but it won’t change the definitions or the reality. You’ve also never heard the saying corn fed American boy have you. Those hearty mid western people would like a word with you. You can spew all the article you want but covid taught me long ago science can say anything you want it to if you search long enough, and plenty of nutritionist post all about how good grains are for you, so I honestly don’t give a shit about what some lab coat says. Also why are you resorting to personal attacks I’ve just been pointing out things never once insulted you.

Grain based diet means grains are the staple food item being part of most meals as I have said, which all successful civilizations have exhibited, and all these strong people have exhibited as well. Also I thought we were having a civil discussion, but it seems like I really pissed you off since youre throwing insults lol: imagine being so mad cause someone said there is nothing wrong with eating grains. And corn fed American boy goes way back even before when those midwesterners were actually winning medals for us in the olympics being as big and burly as they were. I respect my Midwestern bros: they are good lads.

I accept your concession. Never seen anyone actually defend "grains with every meal" before, nor have I seen anyone label corn a "health food" and say that obesity doesn't matter because corn makes boys big and strong. I think pic related describes you pretty well, which is unfortunate in a way because, if you were a genuine person, you'd be much more interesting to speak with.

I've lived in both Belgium and the US and the breads don't compare. You can still get high quality bread at legit bakeries (like the one next to my house) but the "loafs" they make in the supermarkets are made with shit dough.

Having that said, having too much bread (even the highest quality) will fuck up your macros if you're not paying attention.

I live in BC and I always thought every grocery store had this but when I went to Ontario I found quite a few of them don’t. I used to eat Dave’s Killer Bread a lot, now I get baguettes from the grocery store and if I need sliced bread or buns I go to Cobs. The price difference isn’t big enough that I’d even consider going back to the frozen crap. I don’t know how people eat store-bought sliced bread, honestly.

It’s the best kind of bread since it’s not processed as much as regular white bread or wheat.

fuck 21 whole grains by daves killer bread is the best fucking bread for my favorite fucking sandwich

    heres the recipe:
    - 2 slices of 21 whole grains dave killer bread
    - (optional) toast and lightly butter
    - medium layer of crunchy peanut butter on both slices of bread
    - drizzle raw wildflower honey across both slices
    - gently spread out the honey onto the peanut butter using a knife or the back of a spoon
    - take 6-8 thin slices of italian dry salami and cover one of the slices of bread, allowing some salami to hang off the side by 1/8"-1/2" (your preference)
    - (optional) on the other slice sprinkle evenly lightly toasted weed (AVB works great)
    - combine the two slices to form a sandwich
    - cut DIAGONALLY into two triangle shape sandwich halfs
    - serve with 1 quart of ice cold whole milk in a frosted mug

too much added sugar (not total carbs) for 1 slice of bread.

they have a thin slice version which is better, it is pretty much 1 regular slice cut in half.
    its very expensive too.

protip: all bread is goyslop bread. There's no magic in "whole foods" that make them any less toxic. All of our contemporary plants are a man-made invention and our digestion is not adapter to them.
Just because some people can get away with eating trash for 30 years doesn't mean it's smart. And yes, even your "good breads" are trash.

I don't get why people are citing science and history all that much to decide between meat or plants.

    I do this:
    >Our body needs nutrients
    >Animals are closes to us in biology compared to plants
    >So, eating animals is better than eating plants.

Technically, eating human meat would be the best according to this logic, but that's thankfully never going to happen.

I personally think that logic is perfect but, if you want to convince other people of things, you have to be prepared to use science and history, because they probably will try to use science and history, too.

The logic I personally use is
      >spinach makes me feel literally nothing and I've never craved it in my life, so it's useless
      >bread makes my teeth fuzzy and pizza doesn't satiate me like steak and fruits do, so the former two are useless
      >vegetable oil feels like a manmade horror and isn't satiating and butter tastes amazing and is satiating, so the latter is obviously better
But still you get people defending spinach and bread and vegetable oil as superfoods because they thought those things were healthy their whole lives and they are just incapable of changing their minds.

Some people would literally prefer to die than admit they were wrong (see that Philadelphia snow shoveling shooting), and that's horrifying. I think it's because they've never faced adversity or any challenge in their life before, so they are just incapable of thinking anything they've ever done or thought is wrong.

        >if you want to convince other people of things

That's the most difficult thing to do on this earth. People have their own minds, and if they're made them up, they won't change them. See politics and any kind of interaction between people at all.

I just listen to my body. I know, that's kind of a karen/fallible position, but I support that choice by saying that not every brain needs the same thing. People *literally* are different. One person likes how itchy wool is, and the other likes how tight spandex is. Why can't the brain have its preferences when it comes to food?

Some people want to eat meat, others salivate over some boiled broccoli. Maybe the green-eaters need broccoli in their body and the meat-eaters can get that from meat.

I've had my mind changed regarding some things because of IST. That's why I write so much and link studies, etc., because I'm always hoping someone can prove me wrong. Unfortunately you get some people who just keep repeating themselves and who refuse to use logic or evidence like the grainposter above, which is a big waste of time, but other times you get genuine people who have interesting information I've never heard of before.

But you're right that most people will never change their minds on anything... especially not via the internet.

However, I think you underestimate the human mind's ability to crave certain things which are bad for it. Just like you can teach a dog to do things which are bad for it (hold its bladder until it gets a UTI, get medicine applied via the rectum, fight other dogs), you can teach people to do things which are bad for them. Wrist cutting, anorexia, getting hazed, and so on. It's not far-fetched to think that broccoli either does nothing for you or maybe has a slight negative effect but some people still "crave" it because they were taught to. Remember: no baby is born liking broccoli.

            >no baby is born liking broccoli.

Yeah. That's basically my standpoint. We get taught things in society, and I'm not commenting on that, that's a whole different can of worms, but our body is basically the best measuring device and source of truth we have.

Babies *indeed* aren't born liking broccoli, so maybe there's a reason for that, lol.

You might also like this study. They showed pictures of meat to vegans and the vegans "said" they didn't crave the meat (subjective data) despite their brain screaming it wanted it (ERP measures). Basically, these researchers concluded vegans essentially lie to themselves about not liking meat.

          https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31254550/
          >Food processing and emotion regulation in vegetarians and omnivores: An event-related potential investigation
          >Twenty-four vegetarians and twenty-one omnivores were instructed to either passively look at the pictures (Watch) or to change the appetitive value of the food
          >In vegetarians, meat and fish dishes elicited lower desire to eat, pleasantness, and arousal during each condition as compared to both omnivores and vegetarian food.
          >In contrast with the subjective data, no group differences were observed in any of the ERP measures, suggesting that similar neural processing of food-cues occurred in vegetarians and omnivores both during passive viewing and cognitive reappraisal.
          >Overall, our findings suggest that, in vegetarians, aversion towards nonvegetarian food prevails at the subjective level and is consistent with their personal beliefs. In contrast, at the neural level, the intrinsic motivational salience of this type of food is preserved.

I think their ability to lie to themselves is what makes them prone to ignore reality to begin with. They're stubborn in believing what they want ot believe, and not waht 'is', if you will.

Bro what, isn't that *literal* evidence that our brain is telling us to eat meat?

              Anonymous

Yes, but I think "they" are trying to equate meat to processed sugars and junk food, saying things like eating too much meat is an "indulgence" like what this fag said

Lol bread is what built the western world unironically that is why Europe has a bread culture, it fed the masses since time immemorial. America’s meat culture is newer and is a sign of decadence and over indulgence. Nothing wrong with eating meat but it doesn’t have to be in glutinous quantities and for every meal like what is done in the fattest states where “work” is sitting in a chair from 8-7 cause goldbergstein needed you to stay late and you’re his best goy.

. So our brains crave it not because it has everything we need to be strong and live healthy, but because it's some kind of junk food.

I don't know, I would say it doesn't make any sense, but the average person is definitely convinced that too much meat will clog your arteries or whatever nonsense.

                Anonymous

I mean, I see meat as a chopped up animal being cooked over a fire or in a pan. Not a burger from mcdonalds.

It's so pervasive though. I can feel the logic in my own head too. It's like the idea of how 'good' meat is is somehow equated to my arteries clogging. You know those stock fotos of a steak is 'bad', because that's all the fat and something something that's bad somehow.

While in reality, a steak is actually really good. It's proteins and fats. There are no 'essential' carbohydrates, meaning that your body *can't* synthesize what's in them.

Like, there's essential amino acids, which means that the body can't make them on their own or something about essential fats or what have you. Your body *literally* can make carbs, or rather, glucose, by using protein. It's called gluconeogenesis.

Yes, that's another thing. People equate burgers, fried chicken, pork ribs slathered in BBQ sauce, etc. as "meat" and ignore the massive amounts of PUFAs and refined sugars in them to declare the meat as unhealthy.

Personally, I got rid of that pervasive nonsense by simply realizing I feel great after eating many eggs (6+) or a lot of steak (two in a day). I feel so energetic and healthy with my current diet (mostly meat and fruit) and other people I know (family, friends) are just so weak and fat eating their grains and goyslop. I also got my cholesterol checked and had perfect levels.

Bread isnt healthy tbh, especially not packaged. It totes has microplastics. I make my own bread for my whole family and even deliver to neighbors for free on occasion.

I am a chud but a real bonafide non-agp non-freak of nature looking. Only reason I attribute to me not looking like a freak is the diet I adopted when I was little. essentially my whole diet was sugary breads, tons of flax seed, metric ton of spearmint tea daily, lots of whole milk, no meat. I went all in and did research on my school computer. this because my parents were freaking out that I looked like a girl and that I said I was one so they started ripping up all the clothes I had and signed me up for mma classes. I figured I'd have a lot of resistance from them so I would do things myself. The idea of going through male puberty made me nauseous. I also did a ton of cardio.

Either way the results of eating that diet (lots flax, lots mint tea, very low protein, sugary, and tons of carbs) for years were pretty good for me, probably not a diet you want to have.

I ended up starting to develop breasts pre-hrt. I stunted my growth quite a bit (im still 4'10) (my sister is taller than me by 3 inches) I had tons of deficiencies that I later fixed but still.

I started hrt at 15 when they finally caved. I was small, already had breasts, and my build was def not a mans or even a teen guys. I now have hips almost exactly the same width as my sisters, im not fat, and my breasts are a 34c and are not "cone" shaped like a lot of trans womens breasts are, they are much more full.

point is, wanted to flex and also that if you want a good clear and healthy diet just avoid that processed bullshit all together, avoid regularly consuming flax 100%. Avoid garbage, because thats just retarded to play fuck fuck games with your diet when you're a grown adult. maybe try oats? maybe find a tortilla place and get natural tortillas? maybe just eat rice?

I figured i could ask here, how many of you eat raw egg? I want to eat a diet of raw eggs, plain oats, and apples for a treat. This is so I stay away from addicting foods. I love egg but hate them raw. Lets say i chug 6-12 raw eggs a day, do you think im gonna get salmomoron? if any of you have had salmonella, was it bearable from home?

Salmonella affects everyone differently. I don't know if this is broscience but I'm pretty sure salmonella is always on the inner eggshell/egg white and never on the yolk. I would just cook your eggs, though. Also oats are nutritionally useless foods and one of the most pesticide-contamined foods you can buy.
