Damned if you do damned if you don't

>White collar work is bad for your fitness as you sit all day in a hunched position and destroy your back and health in the process
>Blue collar work is bad for your fitness as you move all day and do too much activity that destroys your back and health in the process
You can't win.

Have you tried a standing desk?

It's the lack of activity that makes white collar horrible for your health regardless of whether you're standing in one place or sitting in one place.

with work form home you only really have to work for like 2 hours out of the day, then you can walk/ride/row your way to perfect healthful bliss. get with the times, gramps.

Yeah let me just walk around while carrying around my monitor. You need to unplug your keyboard right now and choke yourself with the cord you insufferable swine.

You're a moron if you think your body is going to adapt more to your 1 hour shitty workout than your 8 hours of ass sitting.

Its literally not that big of a deal. Just stand the frick up like that other guy said. Maybe it wasn't your case because you have been NEETing since conception but there is something called school where most people attend from ages 6-18, sitting for hours everyday, and can still be perfectly healthy as long as they do sports

I worked in a warehouse for two years and would carry 100-200 lb boxes myself every shift. Manual labor doesn't destroy you unless you're weak and don't know how to lift

Become a sailor chad with a varied work load. I sit for 3-4 hours in a chair on watch during the night, stand and pace 4-5 on watch the rest of the time, work 2-3 hours walking around doing light maintenance work or inspection, and can hit the gym for an hour everyday. And then I get to be home for 6mo every year and NEET it up. All for near 20k a month when I'm working.

If you're working a white collar office job you know damn well most of the day is done doing absolutely nothing. Plenty of time to stand up and walk around or do anything other than slouch in a chair in between the monotony of paperwork or whatever it is you do.
