I don't drink caffeine. I don't think about not having it. It's not a part of my day or my process. I don't feel deprived of it. It's not a conscious effort to avoid it other than asking the barista what doesn't have caffeine in the once in a blue moon I find myself alongside someone who does drink coffee like a date. I don't feel happy that I don't have caffeine. I don't feel caffeineless, I just feel normal.
Worth it for me.
Quit caffeine some time ago. Now I don't even drink tea on a constant basis. Feel better than ever.
Tips:
1. Go cold turkey
2. Ingest your last caffeine two days before your day off, so that withdrawal headaches won't bother you on a working day.
3. You might fail the first few times. It's fine, just try to make it farther than the last time.
i drink a cup or two of black maybe twice a week nowadays, but i used to dump a whole bag of instant coffee into an empty sarachia bottle (bout 12oz), liquify it, and down it all in one go for a few years

I've come off caffeine for several months over the last few years, and in my opinion I'm a lot better off drinking coffee than not. Unless you're having negative health impacts directly caused by caffeine/coffee, you won't gain much from quitting, and there's a lot of benefits to coffee/caffeine. My longest period without coffee was 3 months, and even by the end of that although I had no withdrawal symptoms, my energy and motivation were just lower than they were on caffeine. What I've found is that you have the same amount of energy in a day whether you use caffeine or not, but caffeine lets you choose when to use that energy. I couldn't go as hard during my workouts than I could with caffeine, and it took me longer to finish mental work. The biggest benefit for me was that I DID sleep better without caffeine, but I've never had many problems with sleep in the first place, so taking ten minutes longer to get to bed was a worthwhile tradeoff for the benefits of caffeine. Definitely try a month or two without to know what works for you, I have friends who are better off after quitting, but I personally didn't see many benefits, and feel so much better drinking coffee.
you can not ; i repeat you can not, it is impossible to study for long hours whitout caffein; I really wish it was harder to obtain so that not everyoane would get such easy acces to it ; I don't think there exists or would ever exist something beter for cognition than plain black coffe >t. medgay
Actually worth it. Before you start get a stack of Tylenol or acetaminophen. You'll need it if quitting cold turkey. You'll also be drowsy during the day.
If you get withdrawals from caffeine then definetely worth it. You are literally junkie for legal substance.
