deviated septum

I've had a deviated septum for well over a year now. The NHS won't do anything and I can't afford privately.
Whenever I go running/cycling uphill I get out of breath far easier than before.
What's the best way to fix this?

wear something like pic-related, it will probably also help you pick up girls since large gapping holes in your face is a turn-off for most women.

drink water. it hurts because you apparently refuse to use it. very bad state of affairs, you'll probably pass out and die if you are ever caught in a fire.

Mouth breathing leads to a bunch of other problems

mouth breathing is people who never breath through their nose. i'm sure you cause just as many problems by refusing to breathe through your mouth when you reach vo2 max, but there's no data on it because no one is that moronic besides OP.

Pretend the slight jankiness it adds to your nose gives you dysmorphia, tell nhs you are going to have a nice day because if it, get prescribed pills for autist suicide brain and don't take them, say you are taking them and that you still want to have a nice day because of nose, get surgery for free as a mental health affirming care ezpz lemon squeezy Black person.

I'm in exactly the same position, they offered me a septoplasty but its a 3 year waiting list and I don't fancy the odds of having a collapsed nose
