Elementary school kids only have one teacher and stay in one classroom all day except for lunch and recess. Middle school and high school kids get 5 minutes to move between classes at the end of each period.

Finnish High Schools have 15/20 minute breaks plus a longer lunch break, approximately 45 minutes. You can normally leave the school om the lunch break or any gap lessons you have and go eat somewhere else or do whatever.

Damn, that sounds infinitely better. Do you end up spending more time in school each day or do you just have fewer classes? School for us is about 7 hours per day from the morning bell to the dismissal bell.

here in bong we had 6x 50min lessons + a 15min break and a 50min lunch. 15 mins in the morning for registration and 5mins after lunch. kids 15+ could go into town for food during lunch and last 2 years if you had free lessons you could go or do whatever. 8:45am to 3:15pm

God I fucking hate the US education system so much. We spent 7 hours in school and the only break we got was a 30 minute lunch and no one could leave during school hours.

boomer here. Back in the day you had buyouts for sports events. You could give them a dollar to get out of school to watch any team.
, usually weekly or more. We also were allowed to miss 45 days out of a semester as long as you passed.

bulgarian schools had 10 minute small breaks, 20 minutes long recess, two shifts a day:
          - morning 07:30-12:30 or 13:20
          - and afternoon, 12:30-18:30 if my memory serves me
shifts changed every semester, meaning you're first shift for half a year, second for the other half
if you were lucky, the school would be empty enough that they'd be all first shifts
lucky, because as a lil shit you'd waste your entire morning if you were second shift
if you were first shift on the other hand, you'd get the school shit outta the way, then have the entire afternoon to enjoy nature, urban exploring the old closed factories and whatnot, and when you were lucky, doing your homework as soon as possible instead of as late as possible and fucking your shit up long term with stress and cortisol
this full day at school shit sounds grim af, feels like it's preparing kids to be wage slaves that willingly give up their daylight hours for busywork in a shit system

            >feels like it's preparing kids to be wage slaves
That's exactly what it is. When I was in high school I was able to learn everything just from what was taught during class and I got 100% grades on tests to prove it, so I never did homework because I didn't need it. Teachers would try to tell me I needed the practice and I'd ask them why if all my test grades are A+? They could never give an answer to that and they'd just let me leave while they seethed. One teacher did give an answer, he said, "When you have a job you'll have to give up your free time doing things you don't want or don't need to do, so you better start practicing obedience now." He exposed to me exactly what the American school system is: A brainwashing exercise to break kids into unquestioning obedience to authority, not an education system. They don't care about what you learn or what you know, they only care about how obedient you are to authority and how willing you are to waste your precious youth doing pointless busywork.

your body regulates cholesterol, if you ingest it , your liver makes less, for some people this mechanism is broken, due to genetic defect, causing blood cholesterol to increase with intake.

Why is he showing HDL? LDL is the one that matters. We already know damn well increasing saturated fat consumption doesn't increase HDL nearly as much as it spikes LDL.

I've been doing carnivore for about 5 years and have stupid low cholesterol and high HDL.
Last I looked my HDL was like 99 and my LDL was 54.
Unfortunately, low LDL is more lethal than high LDL in observational studies, and I want to get up to 150 or 200+ LDL but nothing I fucking do seems to budge it.
Going to take a hand and not drinking for january and see if that helps.

My Trig/HDL ratio is golden though so I'm not at risk of cardiovascular issues, but LDL seems to be such a good way to protect myself from such a large amount of diseases, it feels unfair bros.

How the FUCK is having a high LDL good?
