Hey bros, I need some advice. Been bulking and lifting daily for the past 2 months to get ready for MDW. I strictly ate
>2lb beef
>varied rice portions
>veggies (Brussels sprouts, broccoli, spinach, peas, onions mostly)
I had a few cheat meals in between but only 4 times over the course of the time frame. This was 2 weeks ago now since I started cutting.
I am cutting now and have lowered my portion sizes but have not seen much weight loss and I’m still at around 20-25% body fat still after 2 weeks of eating
>1lb beef
>smaller portion of rice
>same veggies
No cheat meals
What diet do you recommend that will still maintain my strength but lose weight faster? Should I just go straight into a fast for a few days or eat less?
Thats a fairly small amount of mcdonalds for an average sized person i'd say. What do you think guys?
I wouldn't WANT to eat that. But I could easily
Nice reference anon
I think your delivery lacks some punch when using the reference.
Anyway legendary posts aside, LESS than that amount of food got you a free meal if you could eat it before fifteen minutes pass, except with beer instead of cola. I tried it with a friend. We both failed miserably but had a good time lol.
Pls what do I eat?
I don’t know shit about dieting but I’ve been actively lifting for 16 years. All I do when I want to lose weight is skip a meal every day, normally lunch.
This is what I historically do but I’m 28 now and I notice I’m losing weight slower these days. Do you eat anything specific? Or stay away from certain foods?
Idk. I kind of think keto shit is gay and trendy. I eat mostly meat anyway, idk why veggies are so hated by ketocels.
I’m 5’11 started at 235lb down to 230 in 2 weeks. I’m trying to slim down to 200-210. In the past I used to make bigger losses but I guess my age is catching up with me. I expected to lose more in the past two weeks. I’m not some fat retard too, my bench max is 315 so I’m decently strong. I just have winter weight I was hoping to shed faster.
Ah, third guy you replied to. I forgot to mention MINOR strenght loss is expected when losing weight. You're strong so you should still be strong after cutting but those pounds will make a difference.
I am 28 as well and losing weight at a decent 2lbs/week but I am not nearly as far into my lifting journey as you are, so I don't mind the numbers on the bar too much.
Go keto/carnivore. Just eat meat salt and water. You'll be in ketosis 24/7 and you can eat as much as you want, no need to fast.
Go.
Away.
>What diet do you recommend that will still maintain my strength but lose weight faster? Should I just go straight into a fast for a few days or eat less?
Anything that cointains enough protein yet doesn't go over the limit to fatten you up.
How much weight do you intend to lose? How much have you lost already? Two weeks is not nearly enough time to see decent progress in any moderate-large weight loss plan.
This.
Also literally just buy a weight scale and count calories and it's easy. 3500 calories is 1 lbs of fat so just eat in a deficit while still lifting. It's not rocket science
Thanks
Me too
Well I know there will be strength loss but I just want as minimal as possible. What weight did you start at and what height? I am on this loss schedule now (2lb a week) but in the past I was used to at least double.
What does your diet consist of specifically?
Thank you.
Counting calories is fucking gay. I just want to get into a good regiment on autopilot. People count calories and drive themselves crazy while also feeling like shit at the same time because they’re cutting. There is a happy medium that can be achieved
>Counting calories is fucking gay.
bro u fucking gay
>People count calories and drive themselves crazy while also feeling like shit at the same time because they’re cutting.
projection, i've never had an issue.
>bloating from water and sodium
>weak lifts from keto diet
>erectile dysfunction from ketosis
Ketofags should rope
I'll take "shit that doesn't happen" for $500, Alex.
Get a clue pinhead
I love burgers and other sandwich based foods so much its unreal
>What diet do you recommend that will still maintain my strength but lose weight faster?
you're gonna lose muscle no matter what if you're aiming to drop 10% BF. All you can do is minimize it by doing a proper deficit with at-least 0.82g protein/lb of lean body mass.
why can't you gays just try to count calories before deciding it's impossible to lose weight
Day 1 - smash burgers
Day 2 kofta kebab
Day 3 - hash browns, baked beans, mushrooms, toast
Day 4 - curry
Day 5 - fast
Day 6 - meatballs and pasta
Day 7 - chicken salad
Stupid.
Counting calories is gay but I might have to do it.
