          Randle cycle isn't activated if you are eating at maintenance. But if that were the case, fat fricks wouldn't be fat in the first place. The point is, you can't just tell fat people to just eat less of what you are already eating. They have metabolic syndrome/insulin resistance if not borderline diabetic.

      Eating the carbs in isolation will first fully replenish all your glycogen, then upregulate thermogenesis and metabolism significantly and eventually a small amount will begin to go through de novo lipogenesis to be stored as saturated fat. It's almost impossible to gain weight eating HCLF whole foods.

              I'm not keto or vegan, you barely need any fat in your diet and the few you should get should be saturated animal fat in your lean protein sources. Nut butters and other garbage are toxic. Replace fats with carbs, your body can create saturated animal fat from carbs through de novo lipogenesis.

    Modern foods make you fat. Traditional people had no concept of a calorie or a "carb" they just ate their ancestral foods and stayed lean without trying. That's the gigabrain take, not your silly reddit pseudo science. If you need to meticulously track your diet and count calories a midwit might consider than normal but someone a bit smarter might realise that there is something wrong and unnatural about such a diet that messes with hormones and regulation to such an extent that you need an app to not get fat.

    The more recently a food group was introduced, the less healthy it is. The most healthy food groups existed 100,000+ years ago, less healthy but ok are post agricultural age food groups. Post global exploration and selective breeding foods like potatoes are less healthy still and the worst are 20th century foods like cash crops, vegetable oils, chemical sweeteners etc.

    Anyone on here higher IQ should read some Weston Price and stop listening to anyone shilling a modern diet.

    seeds and most nuts should definitely be in the Protein and Fats intersection
    Hemp seeds have like 33% Protein on 50% Fat
    most nuts and seed are around 20-30% Protein and 40-50% Fat
