Dips

I decided to start doing dips, but I've been feeling pain close to my sternum after the workout. What can I do in other to keep doing dips safely and pain free?

Use a narrower armposition. Dont dip all the way down.

Get off my thread, coomer scum

Do them supported with a band for a while

I don't have a band so I will try to lower the volume, but I already am going easy on them so I don't know if it will be enough

What's the corret form for dips?

      reduce range of motion

I was doing it until my arms were at a 90 degree angle, should I reduce the range of motion anyway?

Supporting your whole weight on your arms will make your clavicles and sternum take the impact and it will hurt like a b***h.
Just reduce your ROM to a bearable degree of pain and slowly increase depth while your body adapts.
        Culo for your pleasure.

You probably round your upper-back when dipping.

not OP but I appreciate this link bro, I wonder why basic dip form videos didn't mention this stuff or maybe they did and I didn't notice cuz I watched them on the spot right before doing dips for the first time
I'll try this and see if it helps with shoulder pain
