One of my best friends can't talk to me anymore because her husband is jealous of me. She just texted me and it feels bad to lose a long time friend in such a simple way. It's a mire, but it's not one I ever wanted.

Would you want your wife having a close friendship with another guy?
No married man should be close friends with a woman, and no married woman should be close friends with a man. That's just reality.

Kek why did she have to jab you like that?

    my fitness struggle is consistency/motivation.

I will get to 185 lb, visible abs, great cardio and strong. Maybe I will maintain this for like 6 months. But every time eventually I will get lazy stop working out eat shit and balloon to 220lb.

It's not even cut bulk cycle. I lack discipline sadly. I am 29 years old. I've been getting fit and fat since I was 17..I probably went below 190lb 6 x and above 220lb 6x. I have pretty bad bipolar disorder but that's not an explanation.

I'm in a similar boat, but taller than you. When I'm lean at 220 lbs. people are in awe of me. I don't have a super muscle bound build because I just lift for health, and value flexibility as well as strength. I can do the full splits for example. But when I was doing bent presses for reps at commercial gyms I would get everyone staring at me. Now that I'm bloated at 260 lbs. I still intimidate people, and impress them with my strength and flexibility. I think I'll just coast at 230s since it'll be a middle ground of what I'm aiming for.

No matter how many times I try to fix my grip it still feels like the bottleneck of my bench. I don't even feel anything lower than my forearm.

Have you tried lifting with low weight/the bar till failure? Getting the movement perfect should help.

      >I don't even feel anything lower than my forearm.
I literally feel my shoulder twitching and clicking as soon as I am on 1 pl8. Bench works much more than your chest. Get your form right before the big lifts

I have no one to spot me so i use less weight or less reps cause i dont wanna humiliate myself infront of everyone

      literally nobody cares
first time i failed was doing flies and had to drop my dumbbells in the most humiliating and obnoxious way possible
looked around and nobody even cared enough to look over for more than a glance even
you have to fail to know how to recover from a failure

I have no discipline when it comes to eating clean and constantly give in to temptations set by my wife and mother-in-law. I lift 5 times a week but just look like a fat 5'7" blob.
I need to exercise to prevent depressive episodes, and once I am depressed, I stop giving a shit about exercising. So once I get into a regular exercise schedule, I become paranoid that something will throw me off my rhythm and being me back to square one.

There's this fricking early 20's zoomer at my gym that just goes to talk to people and try and sell them his fricking moronic dropshipping shit. I literally never see him working out, always just talking to someone. Gainz goblin.

The biggest gainz you could make is to stop giving a shit and go wherever it's comfortable for you.

So I should just let my workout get derailed every day by some geriatric gay who somehow didn’t die of aids in the 80s? Every time this happens it’s always some old homo. It’s only a matter of time before he starts telling me about his time in the navy.

And I wouldn’t really mind except that he makes weird comments such as
        >(referring to the spray bottle of sanitizer solution he’s holding) maybe I should spray you down and put on a show

Also I realize that I could just tell the guy to frick off, but then I’d feel so bad about being a dick that I would want to avoid him anyway.

Kek I think he's a homosexual trying to chase you down. If the guy doesn't have clout in the rest of the gym you could tell him to just frick off upfront. Would be awkward the first few sessions after but who gives a frick.

Left shoulder is absolutely fricked. Tore front of rotator cuff last week. Upper body is completely relegated to unilateral exercises, right as I was finally getting close to correcting the strength imbalances between my right and left sides.
    Start pt next week.
